Situated on the placid waters of a Lake Winnebago lagoon sits Experimental Aviation Assocation's most well-kept secret: the seaplane base, known one week out of the year as Airport 96WI.

One of the misconceptions about shark diving is that it’s largely an ‘adrenaline junkie’ activity. While I’m sure that’s the case for some divers, I think those people are probably in the minority, based on conversations I’ve had with other divers over the years. For many of us, myself included, there’s a certain tranquility that is experienced when diving among these beautiful animals. Witnessing their silent and graceful movement through the water brings me a level of peace that I rarely experience elsewhere. There’s no dramatic music or fear, just a quiet state of wonder and a healthy amount of respect.

Captured in Eagles Mere, PA, a very beautiful village at 2500 feet where very wealthy poeple spend their summers. There is a 4 mile hiking path around the lake which covered with a canopy of mountain laurel, the state flower. I visited this place every year since I was 15 years old.

My Photoblog- My Third Eye...!

Except for the odd cry of a seagull and the low swoosh of a slow incoming tide, there wasn't much more to interrupt a peaceful evening in a lovely location.

Pre-dawn at Streaky Bay

Well... It's that time of the month again. Time when the moon is just the right size for shooting nighttime star photos.

This was Canyon Lake, late last night, lit by the setting moon.

Jill and I spent hours yesterday afternoon, slowly driving around this lake, trying to find an interesting comp for a night shot. I really wanted something with a Saguaro, but there were none within a hundred feet or so of the water, and I really wanted the water to be the predominant part of the foreground, so I settled for this mesquite tree.

This was taken with my new Canon 24mm f1.4, shot with the F wide open. It was a very dark night.

A very tranquil end to the day on the banks of the River Thames at Abingdon.

So, this is the photo that I captured during the day I woke up early than usual hoping to get a glimpse of the sunrise but its was a little bit cloudy this is all I got with a bit of the golden tones. I do realized that I probably over on the saturation and maybe I can get a better composition if I was not too excited taking this picture!! but I really love it!! Can you guys just comment “great shot” that will make me very happy..hahaha :D :D, just kidding guys of cos an honest/simple comments of maybe just a view is more than enough for me . I’m going back to this place again but not sure if can get up early LOL

Have a great day/evening all :))))

This is an old gravel pit, now a fishing lake which is close to home. I wanted the moon to be within the photo, so I used an app to find out whether the moon would appear in the shot and its timing. The Sun would always set behind me when in this position facing the island to take a photo. Luckily, It coincided that in few weeks' time from my first visit, the moon would appear; and after a couple of attempts when the ideal weather conditions occurred, I took the shot.

nice day yesterday at Loch Lomond..weres the sun gone

A calm evening on a local lake. Hope you have a peaceful day and week.

Enjoying the great reflections during the early morning stillness.

Sawley cut as seen from the little bridge over the waterway. The sky beautifully on fire but the scene so peaceful to witness

well worth getting up early for this view!
