A hideaway
Being mindless
Restoring myself
Love myself
Restoring myself, again
And again and again
Love myself even more
Bringing Peacefulness to my mind
That's my recipe for my growth. You may have another way.
The most important is that we are on our way.
My last backpacking trip to Sucia Island (one of San Juan Islands) in Washington was a very unique one because we had to take a water taxi to get there as there are no cars allowed on this small island. We camped by the ocean and had a very relaxing night. There wasn't a lot photograph opportunities to be honest, but the view after sunset near our campsite was pretty unique. These are mostly private boats anchored in the bay and it was a tranquil moment after the sun has set.
A graceful series of cascading falls creates a soothing scene where water and woodland exist in perfect harmony.
Another image from the sunset at Langstone Harbour, Hayling Island on Saturday evening, taken about 20 minutes after sunset showing the soft tones of afterglow colours in the sky and reflections on the still waters of the harbour!
0.6 second exposure using a Lee 0.9 ND grad filter.

It's hard to imagine from this shot that one is in the middle of a city of four million people here. This is Kyiv, capital of Ukraine, looking upstream from the right bank near the Paton Bridge. Only the blocks of flats on the right give away this isn't deep in the countryside.

This captivating photograph invites viewers to a serene lakeside setting. The foreground is graced by the rugged textures of an aged tree, its bark weathered by time, leading our gaze to the peaceful lake. A vibrant green tapestry of lush foliage lines the far bank, creating a natural barrier that cocoons this hidden gem. The calm water reflects the scattered clouds above, hinting at the soft breeze that caresses the landscape. Wildflowers peek out along the water's edge, adding a sprinkle of delicate white to the scene. This idyllic spot is a haven for contemplation and nature's simple joys, a snapshot of tranquility in a bustling world.
Washington St has some of the best views in the United States. This was taken at the Hidden Lake lookout
...über die Süderelbe, erbaut 1897-99. Einst der bedeutendste Übergang von Hamburg über die Elbe nach Süde. Heute wird diese Brücke noch noch von Fußgängern und Radfahrern genutzt.

This image is of a small island observed while visiting Horseshoe Lake, during a road trip along Canada's Icefields Parkway. My goal was to compose an image that projected a sense of peace and tranquility. Trees from the far shore of the lake are reflected in the water.
