Trail created in the 1920s for citrus growers to take their produce from the island towards the mainlands of present-day Indian River County. Mostly a sandy but smooth surface, and an easy drive in the dry. Speed limits are set slow, since bicycles and pedestrians are free to walk the trail. It was listed as Florida State Road 252 before the 1940s-renumbering. Now on the National Register of Historic Places.

I saw this ¾" stem folded over above a game trail heading into a swampy area behind a vacant lot. It was 4ft up the tree and over a pretty dense undergrowth

The Inca Trail starts from a point in the Sacred Valley, called "Kilometer 82". To begin the journey, you cross a narrow bridge in Kusicancha, and then you head towards the left side of a eucalyptus forest. This trip is not suitable for cardiac people as it passes over 4,600 meters above sea level, the road winds up, down and around the mountains on ancient carved stone stairs, and then continues through three high Andean mountain passes , one of them with a disturbing name, "Dead Woman's Pass."

ISO-1600 for 20 seconds, because I had the camera running hoping to catch Perseid meteors. I imaged for 3 hours in total but there was a pause for 5 minutes in the middle while I photographed an Iridium flare which involved moving the camera, so I ended up with 2 star trails images, one 50 minutes and one 2hr 10 minutes.

The northernmost segment of Montgomery County’s Pennypack Trail, from Byberry Road to County Line Road in Lower Moreland Township, opened for public use in spring 2021. With the completion of this 0.7-mile section, the trail now extends for 6.2 miles along a scenic corridor beginning at the south in Rockledge Park and continuing north to the Bucks-Montgomery border at County Line Road.
Built on the former Fox Chase-Newtown SEPTA rail line, this 10- to 12- foot-wide gravel path provides level hiking and biking opportunities with scenic views of the Pennypack Creek valley.
Starting from the south at Rockledge Borough Park, at the intersection of Robbins & and Rockledge Avenues, the trail immediately crosses over Shady Lane and then a majestic 165-foot-long steel bridge that spans 35 feet above a small stream valley of a tributary to Pennypack Creek. For the next 2 miles, the trail runs along the western edge of the county’s Lorimer Park.
Beginning at the west end of Delta Campground, Delta Nature Trail #3317 makes a short loop through a mixed conifer and deciduous old growth forest near the confluence of the McKenzie River and its South Fork. The trail crosses 3 streams over installed foot bridges, overlooking large wetlands and trees up to 200 feet tall. (www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/willamette/recreation/recarea/?re...)
I knew of an old abandoned shack that sit a ways up Golden Gate Canyon just off the side of the road and wondered if I might be able to capture some intersting light trails from the cars zooming past it. So I drove up the canyon, set up my spot, composed the shot, and just started clicking away. After reviewing the lcd screen post exposure, I realized the shot I was looking for would require that a large truck needed to go by one way and a small car go by the other way. Well, I couldn't manage this in one exposure (traffic is sporadic in the canyon) but when I got the images on my computer, I realized that I'd gotten the light trails I needed to make this idea happen. It's a bit abstract/conceptual for me but I've been feeling creative lately and up for something new :)
