A 15 minute star trail taken during the Lyrid meteor shower, although I don't think any are captured here.

The two bright trails far right are Saturn and Spica.

Captured using a Nikon 10.5mm fisheye lens on a D7000. Interval timer was an cheapo chinese gizmo, branded Aputure which works very well and much easier to setup than The d7000's own inbuilt timer.

At one point, the Boundary Trail crosses a cliff face for about a quarter mile or more. I got a bit nervous in a few places where the trail was very narrow and/or the footing was not very secure. But I perservered.

This 2.4-mile paved trail provides a quiet, scenic escape northwest of Philadelphia, from Encke Park at Radnor-Chester Road to the shopping center at Sugartown Road and Route 30. The trail travels mostly through wooded areas, passes near local parks and is lined with several benches.

Founded in 1902, the Philadelphia and Western Railway Company (P&W) was intended to be part of Jay Gould's proposed intercontinental electric railway. Gould's grand and progressive plan was scaled back, as was the route of the P&W Trains, featuring luxurious, elaborately appointed cars. It once traveled from Philadelphia's 69th Street Station to suburban Strafford. For the first few months, the trains ran every quarter hour, with the full route taking a half hour. The line remained active until 1956, when it was replaced with bus service.

In 2005 Radnor Township celebrated the opening of the multi-purpose Radnor Trail. Running through residential areas, the trail provides a popular off-road route to retail centers and schools.

The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them.

This is a 1920's vintage log home that IWR restored 3 years ago. This is one of the most uniwue cabins that we work on. It is located on the shores of Lake Superior. We restored this log cabin using Sashco Capture - Chestnut as the finish and Sashco Conceal - Santa Fe Trail caulking. There was then the final clearcoat of Sascho Cascade - Satin to protect the finish from the elements and highly damaging UV rays. For maintenance this summer all that was needed was some caulking on the North wall and South wall.

On the Sandbeach Lake trail in Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) in Colorado. The trail doesn't have many scenic overlooks, like many other trails in the park. However, there are some at the beginning. This is one.

"Family Fun Trail" near Lake of the Woods, Oregon

Trail created in the 1920s for citrus growers to take their produce from the island towards the mainlands of present-day Indian River County. Mostly a sandy but smooth surface, and an easy drive in the dry. Speed limits are set slow, since bicycles and pedestrians are free to walk the trail. It was listed as Florida State Road 252 before the 1940s-renumbering. Now on the National Register of Historic Places.

I saw this ¾" stem folded over above a game trail heading into a swampy area behind a vacant lot. It was 4ft up the tree and over a pretty dense undergrowth

The Passage is a pedestrian link between downtown Chattanooga and the Tennessee River and marks the beginning of the Trail of Tears. The Trail of Tears refers to the journey which forced the removal of the Cherokee tribes from Ross' s Landing in Chattanooga to Oklahoma. Some 4000 Cherokees died before reaching Oklahoma. The Passage is a permanent outdoor exhibit, with symbolism of the seven clans of the Cherokee Nation. There is a 'weeping wall' representing the tears shed as the Cherokee were driven from their homes and removed on the Trail of Tears. Seven, six-foot ceramic disks tell the story of the Cherokee Nation from hundreds of years of Native American habitation in the southeast. Seven, 14-foot tall stainless steel sculptures of stickball players will grace the wall facing the river, educating visitors about the game and its importance to Cherokee culture.
