TRACK is a unique art experience in the public and semi public space of the city of Ghent. It offers surprising, enriching and unexpected encounters with the city, its history and its inhabitants and incites to reflect upon urban realities and the contemporary human condition in a broader sense. 41 international artists were invited to conceive new art works that are strongly rooted in the urban fabric of Ghent but link the local context with issues of global significance.

TRACK is een unieke kunstervaring in de openbare en semi-openbare ruimte in de stad Gent. Het biedt verrassende, verrijkende en onverwachte ontmoetingen met de stad, zijn geschiedenis en zijn inwoners en zet mensen ertoe aan te reflecteren over stedelijke realiteiten en de hedendaagse condition humaine in ruime zin. 41 internationale kunstenaars werden uitgenodigd om nieuw werk te creëren dat diep geworteld is in het stedelijke weefsel van Gent, maar dat de lokale context ook verbindt met thema’s die een universele relevantie hebben.
Never used PH CS4 before, only used it for the past few days working on the HDR photos. I decided why not just screw around while waiting for this train to get its track warrants. I arrived at Wicks at 430, train already there waiting on MOW. 8:00PM train gets orders to take Wicks Siding to clear for Amtrak. Left me some time to burn.
It would be nice if this track was no longer used by the railroad. It could become the perfect route from my house to the office.
