A train heads through Richmond, Virginia, A cold and dreary day with frequent rain showers

Taken across from the Flying J truckstop in Willard Utah. The Wasatch Range is right and out of sight the Great Salt Lake and Willard Bay are about a half mile to the left. A light snow over night left everything white topped.

The wander track light walking route is the highlight of the Dordrecht December Days. Can be admired daily from 5 pm to 10 pm in the historic city center from December 9 to January 8 (with the exception of December 25 and 31). Take a journey through time at twelve locations with beautiful light projections that tell stories from the Canon of Dordrecht. On the flyer of the Dordtse December Days (available at VVV Dordrecht, winter squares and various catering establishments, among others) you can puzzle along during the wander track and you have a chance to win a nice prize. Puzzle unraveled? Enter your answer here. Those who visit the city center in the evening will find themselves in a fairytale setting. A route with light art takes you along special locations during Dwaalspoor. Tracks vanishing in the mist have a strange symbolism. Like to never take a train to some other world as master Miyazaki had portayed. The train would be full of spooky strangers anyway. Only ghosts could travel to such a mist. And yet, the hope lingers. Or is it a fear of that actually happening one day? To fly away or to become a ghost, there is no difference...

These train tracks are used by the WhitePass train and was originally build in 1898 during the Klondike Gold Rush as a means of reaching the goldfields. Now this train is used to bring tourists to the top of the White Pass Summit. Along your journey you will pass Pitchfork Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, the Gold Rush Cemetery, William Moore Bridge & Overlook, Skagway Scenic Overlook and Fraser Train Depot.
