And I thought sewing a dog food bag was hard! No suede in the house so denim it was. My denim was from the worn knee area (lots of grandkids means lots of time spent on my knees!) of a pair of jeans, but it was still pretty stiff. A bright turquoise thread was used to stitch a spiraling design that flows down to the hemline of the skirt area. The top is a soft cotton pleated for fullness and fit.

Not the sort of thing that usually graces the lawns at an event showcasing the best in new-home ideas. It's one of the developer's landscaping toys.
