A few stages in the relaying of new track. At first the track is laying on ballast sleepers needing the chairs for the "3rd" conductor rail have four rightful holes in place. Later images show the sleeper embedded in ballast and chairs for the conductor rail fitted though the conductor rail itself has not been fitted. One image show a detail of the fitment of the rail to the sleeper. Images taken from a bridge over the railway.
