Some of the used and unused tracks at Parnell near the Britomart transport centre in Auckland. Not a lot of train activity on a Sunday in Auckland. There was also a container port strike in progress so not much call for freight trains.
I bought this a few days after I graduated from high school in 2001 at at thrift store. I've played my dad's eight tracks and some I've bought at the thrift store with it. I even brought it to my English class last year when our teacher Mr. Stoller wanted us to do a presentation. 60% of the class knew what it was b/c "their dad had one".

A bit of history was uncovered during the improvement of U.S. 40 (National Road) on Richmond, Indiana's west side. These tracks were likely part of the Interurban line that ran along the National Road between Richmond and Indianapolis. They will be removed as part of improvement project.

23 MAY 2009: Central Missouri's Jenna Schmidt lays on the mat after missing her final attempt in the women's high jump during the Division II Men's and Women's Track and Field Championship held at LeGrand Sports Complex at Angelo State University in San Angelo Texas. Schmidt finished second in the competition with a jump of 1.77 meters.
YSA track maintenance support vehice No.DB 979121 of Network Rail at Bristol Temple Meads, 22 June 2009. These were built by BREL (Shildon & Doncaster) in 1982-85 as YEA continuous welded rail wagons and converted in 2016.
