Tracks and lines of differing sorts are the feature of this 6th March 2015 view of the new 'four-track' embankment on the approach to Lichfield Trent Valley. The farmer's tractor has created a cross-roads in the mud, whilst Freightliner Class 86's Nos. 86609 & 86639 head along the iron tracks with the 4M54 1010 Tilbury-Crewe Basford Hall 'Liner'. Power cables for both railway and national grid add to a complex scene. Copyright John Whitehouse - all rights reserved

Features:
Very fast propulsion by 2 RC motors geared 3:1.
The start of the walking track heading south, just off Bells Line of Road, Grose Gorge in the distance. The waratah flower is just behind us on the left and the new red tips of eucalyptus leaves are seen in the middle distance.
This was a memorable walk with my son, we had spent the day at Mt Tomah botanical garden and reached the cliff just before sunset, then after more photos had to navigate to 2km back in fading light with no torch.
