Thief River Falls-native Paul Storhaug cruises behind the Northern Plains' westbound train out of Thief River Falls inspecting the track. Paul started his career in the 90's at the Soo Line and migrated over to the Northern Plains Railroad in the early 2000's. He has undoubtedly been across these rails many times during his career working for both railroads. This portion of the railroad is virtually unchanged from Soo Line days with original jointed rail and ballast.

The Bayham track in the garden of Scotney castle, is possibly of medieval origin. It may have been worn away by herds of pigs being driven from nearby Bayham Abbey in search of food or to market.

Sersa Total track tuck was at Casselman today when I was there. There were two trucks the same but one left just before I was done unloading. I think they are working on VIA's Alexandria sub.
This is a pair of used Campagnolo Pre-Record Pista, Flange Grandi, Large flange hubs. 36 holes, 100mm and 235gr. front - 36 holes 120mm and 310gr. rear. Complete with lock nuts and lock ring. The thread is Italian 35 x 24F.
