so,we have discovered we really enjoy geocaching and I picked up a couple travel bugs. They have a unique number and you release them at a cache and watch it as it completes its "mission" - this one is supposed to travel as far as it can go...
I can't resist a foggy morning shoot. The fog was thick when I got off work this morning so I headed downtown to the tracks. I've repeated this shot many times but this is the first HDR image I created with my 5d.

Track and switch near the lower end of the Manitou and Pike's Peak Cog Railway.
The drive cogs on the railway cars engage the toothed track that is centered between two standard rails.

As I was heading up above Enterprise Pass, I saw these unusual tracks below me. There had been a snowshoe hare hanging around the area, and I am guessing these are the imprints of its body as it hopped from spot to spot.
Canada's Beautiful Mountains:
Legolas, Tauriel, Spirit and Monkey Wrench track the enemy. One doesn't really know a lot about tracking.
CSX, NS and Amtrak shared trackage at Boylan in Raleigh North Carolina. No trains while I was there. Scanner said there were supposed to be a couple. But...Guess if Mr. Peabody and Sherman were around we could set the way back and see some steam...
