When I started to research the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, the S-2 Tracker wasn´t on my list of planes to build. However, I was impressed with a few kits that I saw online and I wanted to include into this tiny MOC as many features as possible.
Like the real Tracker, it features foldable wings and turning propellers, the MAD can be extended and it has an internal bomb bay with doors. Unfortunately, it lacks room for the retractable landing gear but it can carry the search light and up to four Mk-46 torpedoes under the wings.

The start of the walking track heading south, just off Bells Line of Road, Grose Gorge in the distance. The waratah flower is just behind us on the left and the new red tips of eucalyptus leaves are seen in the middle distance.
This was a memorable walk with my son, we had spent the day at Mt Tomah botanical garden and reached the cliff just before sunset, then after more photos had to navigate to 2km back in fading light with no torch.

so,we have discovered we really enjoy geocaching and I picked up a couple travel bugs. They have a unique number and you release them at a cache and watch it as it completes its "mission" - this one is supposed to travel as far as it can go...

I can't resist a foggy morning shoot. The fog was thick when I got off work this morning so I headed downtown to the tracks. I've repeated this shot many times but this is the first HDR image I created with my 5d.
Today was a special day... Today was the day my childhood dreams came true and I got to drive a Mclaren on the Top Gear track. This shot is of the beautiful Mclaren MP4 12C and a Mclaren 570s. Instagram: rachelfuller_photography

As I was heading up above Enterprise Pass, I saw these unusual tracks below me. There had been a snowshoe hare hanging around the area, and I am guessing these are the imprints of its body as it hopped from spot to spot.
