Track laying at the Leighton Buzzard Narrow Gauge Railway to re-instate the section of line between Stonehenge Works and Mundays Hill. When the line was in commercial use part of the section was double track and the opportunity has been taken to extend that distance. The regular, volunteer track gang are being assisted by a team from Transport For London. These people have been recruited and trained to maintain the Elizabeth Line (formerly Crossrail) but as yet trains are not running.

Im a sucker for some pretty track bikes. This Henry Burton build is right there. Id rather see a concor or turbo on there by personal preference...otherwise the campy bits and the 28h mavics set this thing off nice. Biscuits_chuck has a few more stellar setups up in the flickr.
I've had one or two messages recently re Track Marshall 55's, so here we are.
This is a 1959/60 737 series model with the earlier design track carrier top roller, headlamps are obviously non-standard later additions.
I recall driving it around some Lancashire hills in April 2007, it subsequently ended up in the Scottish Borders (via truck, not driven there) !
I'm since led to believe that it has been up for sale in recent times.
