I'm still looking at the flowering plants, likely in hopes of finding the odd one still standing. I've been amazed at the beauty of some of their changing colors. This is perennial geranium.

On Explore, Nov 24, 2008 (At # 69, highest of all my shots so far). THANKS!

I took this one two weeks ago, when it first snowed. The early snow made a beautiful heart on the green grass with the leaves. Yes, the snow, the pure silent tears of pride.

Inspired by the song of my favorite singer in the Smokie, Chris Norman

"Trust in your heart maybe your love will grow."

Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent can just be seen in the background.

I received this gift from a coworker today for Christmas- what can I say but they know me so very well. This will go well with my Lord of the Rings sword collection!

Fresh peach pie made with peaches just picked off the tree.

Yeah, yeah...I know...enough of the macros...sorry, I promise to put away the macro lens very soon...maybe

Have a great week everyone!!

I took this picture during the Christmas season 2007...I thought it was amazing that someone went to so much work to decorate for the holidays. Even the grass and the roof are just covered in lights. It was amazing! I'm not sure the picture does it justice...

Have good day my dear friends !!!

I simply wanted to thank all the Flickr Admins out there for all of their time and energy, so that we might post our images and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Many are my friends, many I have never met but have appreciated their services. All volunteer their time, and many spend several hours a day making sure things run well for the groups they have volunteered to help keep alive and well. My hat is off to you. A big hug and thanks to you ALL!

============================================================

The beautiful colors of fall never lasted too long, must shoot them while they pass, otherwise…

We went down to Huntington, a nice little town South-West of Valleyfield. The Chateauguay river passthrough the town.

Little note: while shooting these images, we were savoring a fantastic poutine from Leblanc Patate .

Wishing you a happy, bright and sunny Sunday, my dear Flickr friends.

The tomato harvest is all but over. I'm spending time in the veggie garden now...bringing in the harvest and preparing the beds for the winter.

Blue flowers are Alaskan Lupine, a beautiful but invasive species. The sign identifies the street lying directly below that was covered when the volcano erupted.

This was taken in Arizona around noon. After a long and exhausting hike across a desert I had finally reached "the wave". Beautiful textures and lines soared all around me and the colors were simply amazing. This place is truly one of America's greatest wonders and I feel blessed to have had an opportunity to record its beauty.
