This was taken in Arizona around noon. After a long and exhausting hike across a desert I had finally reached "the wave". Beautiful textures and lines soared all around me and the colors were simply amazing. This place is truly one of America's greatest wonders and I feel blessed to have had an opportunity to record its beauty.

The tomato harvest is all but over. I'm spending time in the veggie garden now...bringing in the harvest and preparing the beds for the winter.
Blue flowers are Alaskan Lupine, a beautiful but invasive species. The sign identifies the street lying directly below that was covered when the volcano erupted.

After several months of regular trips to the seafront to watch the starlings fly in to roost under the pier at Aberystwyth, the reward came this evening. A stunning sunset and some glorious shapes! Wonderful....

If the uggboots-messybuns-and-leggings crowd can get their pumpkin-spice-everything this early in the season, then it is ONLY FAIR that I can start getting into the spirit for my favorite time of year, too. Autumn and Halloween are JUST around the corner, and I can BARELY contain myself! I may in fact be GOING MAD in my growing excitement.
