Yup, we have had enough rain to for the year. In a good rain year, this creek flows over the road, closing the road for a day, maybe 2...but this year it has been closed for 4 days now. And finally after 10 hours of constant rain, the sun showed it's face. They are saying the worst is over...hope so. But we are lucky compared to the landslides, fallen trees and floods that other cities in the Bay Area have had.

Yes we have other beautiful places to visit than our wonderful beaches! This park is within minutes of me, and the beach!

I do so love California!

Taken from my window this morning. We don't get much snow here so I was very pleased to be off work today and be able to go out with my camera. The snow was still falling, but I enhanced it a bit in Picnik.

Thank you so much for visiting my stream !!

Have a fabulous Friday & weekend, my friends ;-))

I love the weather at the moment. I like it when the colour of the sky turns into a cloudy but bright white, there is many wind but no rain. I often call this "Irish weather" ;-)

I'm still looking at the flowering plants, likely in hopes of finding the odd one still standing. I've been amazed at the beauty of some of their changing colors. This is perennial geranium.
