Despite the scorching heat, in these days
you're the only thing I've been looking forward to...

This was taken last weekend. The style is quite different from the previous ones. I like the bokeh that is like a paint-brushed touch, also the strong light. Because it interprets my recent longing for this coming summer :)

Love the lyrics and melody of this song, 好想要揮霍 (which means "so wanna get extravagant"). The music's composed by the singer in the clip; and the lyrics is written by an excellent femaleTaiwanese singer/song-writer. The song is talking more in an emotional way, not in a materialistic way as the name might mislead you. One day I might try to translate it into English... :p
About the only signs of autumn that you see in Florida. The delicate showy pinkish plumes when backlit stand out in the florida garden.
This time the hike back to Mirror Lake was worth it....later in the year it will be completely dried up.
This is a further panorama view from a vernal evening at Murnauer Moos. Here we have Estergebirge in the middle of the picture with Wank right behind the hut. Farer away Wetterstein is rather covered by clouds and at the right border we can see Ettaler Manndl.
I used the 50 mm lens to get a bit closer to the scene and merged 3 hand held shots in photoshop.

we can but follow to the sun -
as oft as he go down
he leave ourselves a sphere behind -
'tis mostly - following -
we go no further with the dust
than to the earthen door -
and then the panels are reversed -
and we behold -- no more
we can but follow to the sun

Wishing all of my flickr friends all the Best!

I had the privilege of being born and growing up in Florida. The first half of my childhood was spent in Perry. Perry is located 50 miles south of Tallahassee. It was like Mayberry RFD. No one could have asked for a nicer place to live in and I will always cherish my friends and all of the fond memories I made there. But, as fate would have it, my father's job decided we needed to make a move. This was to Panama City Beach. Here, I finished growing up. Talk about living the dream! Sand on my feet and swimming in the Gulf of America was my way of life everyday, My mother loved the beach as much as we did. She grew up on Pensacola Beach. Now, I live in a town just 50 miles north of Panama City Beach. I still visit Perry often and I'm just a short drive from PCB. My life has been good for the most part, but, like you, I have had my fair share of bumps too. I hope you like this picture of the beach that my mother spent much of her time on as a girl. (Sadly, she passed away 2 years ago.) As you can see, it was taken with my Apple 4 phone, so it's an older photo. But, older doesn't necessarily mean inferior, does it? I mean, I'm getting older, but, I like to think I'm better than ever, even with the aches and pains! :-)
I just overlooked the first 3 shots when the first rays of the sun were illuminating Herzogstand and Heimgarten at theforeground. Behind we can see a part of Wetterstein with Zugspitze and Alpspitze catching the first sunlight.
I tred to come near to the Velvia coloours which we loved at our slides but without the harsh contarst they had in such situations.
The panorama was merged from 3 single shots taken from the tripod. Somehow it pleases me more than the very wide panoramas of this place I showed years before - I just like this specific section.
