Big sky over the winter field trees. Best viewed large:)

I found this wonderful root system that shows the struggle of life in the desert.

This is a straight shot of leaves underwater. The breeze caused gentle ripples to create the effect.

Got several of these shots of cygnets coming towards me and the one second from front never wavered in it's concentration on me

Destination is the always interesting Cypress Hills (Elkwater) via the Graburn gravel road. Along the back route I was drawn to a remnant two story house built into the hillside, a single window like an eye glancing over the golden prairies. Surrounding trees are just beginning to invite autumns parade, a deep water well and wood pile also adding interest. I hope to return again when the trees have signaled their surrender.

La Danza Della Neve

Sui campi e sulle strade

silenziosa e lieve

volteggiando, la neve

cade.

Danza la falda bianca

nell'ampio ciel scherzosa,

poi sul terren si posa

stanca.

In mille immote forme

sui tetti e sui camini,

sui cippi e sui giardini

dorme.

Tutto d'intorno è pace;

chiuso in oblio profondo,

indifferente il mondo

tace.

Please .... View On Black .... Thank you !

Caused by my severe accident, I did not find the opportunity to work with the Linhof Techno technical camera which I bought a short time before. This body works with digital backs (e.g. Hasselblad, Phase One and the newer mirrorless bodies too). Now the time has come to take first photos with it. I made the mistake not to take calibration shots on location for colour cast which is a serios theme here. Anyhow, I took similar shots afterwards with view to a cloudy sky which did work relatively well for corrections.

For this scenery I merged two shots taken with the 40mm lens (which is corresponding to 25,4 m for 24x36) with ca. 10 mm shift. Development was made in Phocus and merging was done in Photoshop.

På vägen hem från min strandpromenad paserar jag vår vackra kyrkogård.

On my way home I take a photo of our beautiful churchyard.

I woke this morning to the world covered with hoarfrost, so after breakfast we all trekked out into the cold to take photos. It was snowing the whole time, and the snowflakes merged with the hoarfrost. This shot is one of the favorites of the day.

This was taken last weekend. The style is quite different from the previous ones. I like the bokeh that is like a paint-brushed touch, also the strong light. Because it interprets my recent longing for this coming summer :)

Love the lyrics and melody of this song, 好想要揮霍 (which means "so wanna get extravagant"). The music's composed by the singer in the clip; and the lyrics is written by an excellent femaleTaiwanese singer/song-writer. The song is talking more in an emotional way, not in a materialistic way as the name might mislead you. One day I might try to translate it into English... :p

This is a further panorama view from a vernal evening at Murnauer Moos. Here we have Estergebirge in the middle of the picture with Wank right behind the hut. Farer away Wetterstein is rather covered by clouds and at the right border we can see Ettaler Manndl.

I used the 50 mm lens to get a bit closer to the scene and merged 3 hand held shots in photoshop.

About the only signs of autumn that you see in Florida. The delicate showy pinkish plumes when backlit stand out in the florida garden.
