A tiny house in St David's West Wales

Made for a swap on swap-bot.

The last few years I've had lots of these tiny bees in my garden. I don't know what they are but I'm happy to have them - they seem to be great pollinators. They are really small - the blossom in this photo is not even an inch from point to point. does anyone know what kind of bee they are?

Day 256 ~ Tiny Mum Blossoms

Time for macro therapy! I drove Dominic to tutorials so he could get caught up in science and hopefully math too. When I got back, I went out with my macro lens. Mom planted some new tiny mums in my photo garden. They are exquisite. Each blossom is maybe 1.5" across and so rich with color.

I knit this tiny Icelandic sweater in a class with Ragga (aka Ragga Eiríksdóttir) at Fibre Space in Alexandria, VA.

The class was called "Icelandic Upside Down Workshop with Ragga Eiriksdottir"

The description of the class was:

"Icelandic patterned yoke sweaters are traditionally knit bottom up – but Ragga likes to do things a bit differently and has developed top down knitting techniques for this popular symbol of the Icelandic knitting heritage. Participants will knit a tiny Lopi sweater containing all the elements and techniques needed to invert any pre existing bottom up pattern to a top down one. Participants receive written instructions and a pattern for a tiny top down Lopi sweater, plus an example of a pre-existing pattern turned upside down."

We were having an icecream in the café garden while this tiny little kitten was playing around.

It was a wild kitten, and we had to be absolutely quiet or it would disappear - which it finally did. The owner of the café told us that they were feeding the kitten, but they couldn't get near it.

Of course we had to look for the kitten another day (and have one more icecream), but the kitten didn't come along.

This is my Tiny Travel Trailer that I have been building the last year or so. They were popular in the 40's and 50's.

Pussy willow buds always remind me of teeny tiny soft little paws. :)

Looks better in light box.

Tiny leaf beetle on a magnolia leaf in garden, he was only a few millimeters long!

:-0 she will never forgive me

Tiny little chopper parked near the bike racks at Waterloo Records downtown (It looked smaller in person). The engine is about the size of a lawn mower engine. A kid's BMX bike is a little bigger than this thing. Kinda cute, eh? :)

This was built for a 2" tall marionette puppet
