Vintage embroidery transfer, source unknown. This little guy was found loose in the bottom of a box of yard sale sewing notions. Printed in red transfer ink on yellowed paper like an old Workbasket transfer. Can anyone identify this?

My eldest granddaughter was awe struck at seeing the tiny toes of her new little cousin. She had to take her socks off and examine her toes ....

 

I think she was secretly looking to see she had nailpolish on them :-)

 

Processed in Lightroom 3, used MCP Black and White fusion actions to convert it to Black and White in Photoshop CS4 and then added Kim Klassen's grunge layer over top.

 

I really wish I knew what I was doing in photoshop :-) That will be my next course at the college I think.

This butterfly is about the size of my thumbnail! Just the tiniest little thing. I really enjoyed him.

A tiny house in St David's West Wales

The last few years I've had lots of these tiny bees in my garden. I don't know what they are but I'm happy to have them - they seem to be great pollinators. They are really small - the blossom in this photo is not even an inch from point to point. does anyone know what kind of bee they are?
