growing in a tiny crack

Okay, so I took this www.flickr.com/photos/lorenzomarchi/245975608/ as a challenge; I couldn't help myself. From a 32 grid folded from a 3cm paper, making the pleats .9375mm

I was bored, so I decided to fold something tiny. This is it!

I had a Flickr friend a decade or longer ago tell me that this flower is an orchid. She was very smart with wild flowers but I'm not sure if that's what this is. It's very tiny and they're all over near the river.

Millions of tiny purple quahog spat (baby hard-shell clams) have collected between the ridges of sand on the tidal flats. These 3-4mm "seeds," the ones that make it, will grow into clams sometimes as big as a fist. They are all purple when they are tiny, but as they grow, they become all white on the outside. The inside of the adult shell can be all white, all purple or anything in between.

This big white clam in this photo is an adult version of the purple infants. It's probably about 3 years old.

It's part of a (slightly) bigger piece.

Smaller IRL than in the photo. :)

So here's the plan. Bottle of sparkling water and a torch - photograph tiny bubbles close up. I think these look quite cool.

This is the bathroom in my new place - it's so tiny that I'm as far away from the sink corner as I can get, yet the toilet doesn't have room to make an appearance - it's just right there off the right side. The tank on the toilet is smaller than a normal one because the piece of wall it's on is so narrow. And yet the previous residents chose to paint this tiny space this dark dark chocolate brown.

This is the room I initially picked the Almond Oil color for - it goes well with the wood paneling, the shower tiles, and the floor, and is much MUCH lighter than the brown. Then I wondered if it would work in the living room because I like the idea of continuity of color between the two - where the light is near the top of the photo is actually the right-most mirror panel beside the green brick wall in the living room.

These little houses are from the above link. I had fun making these. They have a row of flowers around the otherside of them not visible here.

My step-daughter loves the game Tiny Wings so I made a set of these for her birthday.

I was amazed at how tiny this headstone was. It wasn't for a child, just a small marker for a final resting place lost in the grass.

Pure Neemo have wonderful hands, lovely shaped with very tiny nails.

The toothpick can help to understand how small they are :)
