During a recent to the mountains to see some Fall color, we were hiking through the woods and ran across a few wildflowers that were still bravely hanging on, perhaps still dreaming of warm summer days even though Fall had arrived bringing a definite chill to the air.
These tiny little flowers are popping up everywhere! They are no bigger than your thumb, but full of color!
last few tiny worlds, these things are like Pringles once you pop you can't stop and quiet addictive too lol :)
This is one of many tiny ceramic pieces that once belonged to my grandma.

This is the tiny Christmas tree we went with this year. It's a little sickly looking tree, purchased from Target for $9.99, that needed a good home. In the background, on the wall, are two photos, one I took and processed in my little black and white lab, the other is from ImageKind, a gallery wrap canvas print of Amy and Oliver.
This photograph was generated from three photos of different exposure values merged in Photoshop.
I've always loved these Tiny Witchy Mice, who are trying to wear witchy hats which are just too big for them!
These tiny red spiders were found on a fence in my garden and on a stone garden ornament. the one on the wood was so small it was not much bigger than a pin head.just a moving red spot. the one on the stone was a bit bigger and we could just tell that it was a spider. The photo with the finger just shows how small the stone spider is!! What really amazed me was the pattern on the spiders back ! it looks embossed ...So beautiful.
This tiny little botanical book is one of my treasures. The coin shows how small it is, but not only that it is leather bound and has marbled linings to the inside of the covers.

The miracle baby, that 3 months premature was a little fighter, and despite all odds, is now 15 months old(although should be only be about to turn 1).
She's a fighter.
I just got this proof from my label peeps! I'm so excited to have my own label, Tiny Haus is finally legit! LOL These will be pretty small, about .5" wide by .75" high. I wanted a red background with white text, but the dude that helped me said it would read better to have red on white (instead of white on red).
Soon to be on BlytheCon stuffs!
Could someone please explain to me how to get a decent color balance from negatives? This is absurd. The sky was NOT that sickly blue. I feel like I must be missing something completely fundamental. I feel like a chimp, clicking randomly on the picture until the white balance looks something like reality. Is it really that much of a black art?
? Nesticella mogera. See adjacent shot for web/habitat -- across a 'gutter' at the junction between wall & floor. ~~3 mm including legs. ID help needed; best guess based on hbs.bishopmuseum.org/pi/pdf/15%281%29-163.pdf (Gertsch, Pacific Insects 15: 163, 1973). Sorry, it's a terrible photo, but I guess it's better than no photo at all. Didn't have a flash diffuser, & only ventured a couple of shots -- was afraid of disturbing the spider. It's a miracle this one came out at all.
A tiny sweater knit on tiny needles from tiny yarn! Leftover Zwergergarn Opal Rodeo sock yarn from making the fingerless gloves: flickr.com/photos/knitnfrog/309098811/
I was working the pattern out as I went; knit top-down in the round with minimal finishing! (I've read waaaaaay too much EZ!!) I may tweak the pattern again and make more...
Sweater measures just over 2.25" high x 4.5" from wrist to wrist.

I made a set of tiny owls several years ago, and I've continued to make a few over the years. These two are to celebrate a 7th wedding anniversary, which is gold.
I think that this is a tiny orbweaver of some sort because of the beautiful, but tiny web that it made in the azalea branches. This spiders actual size is about the size of a pen head and it's web about 4 inches by 4 inches, pretty amazing if you ask me, but I am a nerd, that goes without saying LOL :)
