rainy day dream away... just before the windshield wipers cleared away the raindrops, i noticed tiny reflections outside the glass. In a "snap" a shot was composed and this photo was born. Shot on Clinton Park near Valencia st, in san francisco's Mission district on a rainy day in early spring.

"We leased a very tiny white cottage with hardly any amenities at all, only electricity and cold water. "
This little building is on the family property next to the cabin. I think it belongs to another family member. Inside is a bathroom, a laundry room, and a sleeping loft. It is about the same size as some of the Tumbleweed Tiny Houses that are kind of neat -- I think it's bigger than the smallest ones but still fairly small.
I finally managed to get these bubbles in focus! Love the prism colour effect in the top right.
The insect that makes tiny bubbles on stems is called a spittlebug. The spittlebug nymphs make bubbles out of a liquid they secrete from their back ends (thus not really spittle). They get their name due to the foamy substance looking like spittle.

I rescued this little frog (about 2.5 cm from nose to tail end) from Zeppy today and brought it in for a few shots. By the time I finished he was pretty grumpy and just wanted to get away. It even attempted to jump off the table. That was when I released it back into the front garden where Zeppy doesn't have access.
This shot was taken just seconds before he jumped from the top of the flower in the pot plant onto the table and attempted to jump to the ground.
Our Daily Challenge ... Grumpy, Cranky, Surly
Tiny is the smallest of the three brothers born at Woburn Safari Park, where his father still reigns, hand reared by staff as his elderly mother was unable to suckle. Tiny and his brothers could not remain in a pride of lions which already had resident male lions, hence residing together at Wildlife Heritage Park.
He weighs in at 180Kg (396 lbs approx); this demands a large meal of meat and bone weighing 15 Kg (30 lbs) 3 times a week.
Tiny is always the brother missing at feed time, refusing to join his brothers in the house so their meat can be placed in the outside enclosure. A lovable character with his antics, always near to trouble but never seemingly involved — he is a true king of the jungle even if his crown is at an odd angle!
The Wildlife Heritage Foundation is a UK based charity working hard to ensure that the big cat species of the world are protected from extinction. Based in Kent UK they are an active partner in the European Endangered Species Breeding Programmes (EEP), as well as setting up education programmes for the people who share the habitats of these wonderful cats, the WHF is also raising awareness and funding for big cat projects around the world.
A forced tilt-shift DOF of a picture I took in San Francisco from the top floor of the Mark Hopkins Hotel. It features the Flood Mansion. I placed the building in a separate layer to get the blur effect.
Tiny eyes firmly fixed as this little Katydid basks in spring sunshine.
Appreciate you stopping by with kind words and stars, life has been hectic and unfortunately it's allergy season which is not at all kind to me........Hope you enjoy this little Katydid :)
Apple, Cherry and Wilhelmina
They are still waiting on their wigs :3
Cherry hasn't been sealed, I'm not quite happy with her yet.
A really quick pattern! Great for those with little time or short attention spans (like me! hehe!). Also good for using up scrap yarn since you only need a tiny bit of each color. Available at www.gleefulthings.com
A Colomban CriCri MC-15 at a small airshow in Bückeburg.
Scanned photograph from 1995.
The CriCri is the smallest twin-engined manned aircraft in the world.
The swiss F+W C-3605 in the background was sadly involved in a mid-air collision in 2002 leading to the death of four people.
