This used to be a CD shelf - but who owns too many CDs anymore? Well, my sister does, so that's why I've kept some of them there! :D

I brought a hand full of perfect tiny shells home from a remote beach in Bali. They are born off that coast. My Balinese friend made me promise never to say where the beach is and I never have.
Paint the Moon week 16/52
Theme: Tiny
This week's theme is tiny. Hail and flurries today so I opted to stay inside. This is a macro shot of tiny beads of water on my indoor miniature rose plant.
Have a great weekend!
Tiny shells in a bigger shell.
My new flash finally arrived today, I've never used a "real" flash so it's going to be a bit of a learning curve to say the least :-)

Any river - large or small - falling into the ravine will produce a waterfall. Some small, some larger, but all interesting in their way.

▶ "Oxalis stricta —called the common yellow woodsorrel, yellow woodsorrel, common yellow oxalis, upright yellow-sorrel, lemon clover, sourgrass, sheep weed, and pickle plant [a surfeit of names for such a tiny flower!] is a herbaceous plant native to North America and parts of Eurasia. It tends to grow in woodlands, meadows, and in disturbed areas, commonly considered a weed of gardens, fields, and lawns. Erect when young, this plant later becomes decumbent as it lies down, and branches regularly. The alternate leaves of this plant are divided into three heart-shaped leaflets (a typical trait of other species of Oxalis) that can grow up to 2 cm wide."

These grow in our garden, but I don't know what they are. The blossom is about the size of a US Half Dollar coin. Seems quite lovely, and takes no care at all.
New life heading into Autumn.
Lots of tiny baby frogs in one of the small pond size lakes at the park. They are along the very rocky steep shoreline, extremely hard for me to get close due to footing issues on the rocks but tried to grab a few photos even if not the best. Focus not the best since I was shaking trying to balance but saving for now. Not much going on, plus haven't been out much recently.
for 7DoS: I don't know the names of many of the things that grow in my garden. The leaves on this bush change to a range of autumn colours ... well those that survive the bugs that find them so very delicious! When I was out in my garden looking for a few shots for this week, I spotted a couple of these tiny buds. Maybe tagbot is right though and it's one of the bugs that eat the leaves. It seems an odd time to bud?
