Yesterday I met Dave, Flickr contact of the first hour. We did a photowalk in the Rotterdam Area. We started in Delfshaven, then to the Maasvlakte and finally we ended at the Landtong in Rozenburg. At this spot you can watch the big seaships and ferrys leaving the port of Rotterdam. Here we where spectators of a most beautiful sunset.
Dave, many thanx for spending some great hours together. It was nice to meet a guy like you, who is so passioned about photography.

biesbosch;
De Biesbosch ('forest of sedges' or 'rushwoods') National Park, is one of the largest national parks of the Netherlands and one of the last extensive areas of freshwater tidal wetlands in Northwestern Europe. The Biesbosch consists of a rather large network of rivers and smaller and larger creeks with islands. The vegetation is mostly willow forests, although wet grasslands and fields of reed are common as well. The Biesbosch is an important wetland area for waterfowl and has a rich flora and fauna. It is especially important for migrating geese.
The sunrise for this particular morning didn’t look great, so I abandoned a long walk to Mupe Bay and ended up in Swanage. As I arrived, the sky started to glow and I had to run as fast as I could to Peveril Point, and just managied to set up my tripod and take a few shots before the vivid dawn colours faded.
