This is the industrious little Bewick's Wren that kept building and rebuilding a nest in the toilet paper dispenser. I finally put duct tape over the hole to keep it from wasting any more time. [Photo taken at Steep Ravine, on the coast in Marin County, California]

This series to describe my life around women. Simple lines, bright colors, showing my appreciation of female beauty.
This showerhead is located in a cottage at the Racebrook Lodge in Sheffield, MA. My mom took this picture. This picture was taken on June 18, 2010.
This is the logo for the Portland (Maine) Sea Dogs, the Red Sox' AA farm team. The back of the shirt says "ROCHE BROS." so it's clearly a little league shirt, but I'll pretend I'm cool enough to support a AA team.
Roboter Museum Sammlung
Scroll Down under this long text for the English version!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Last Wednesday there was free admission to the Museum of Work in Hamburg, but what caught me the most is the large Showcase next to the entrance counter with a great collection of different robots of all sorts .
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As you might have noticed in the pictures, the Power Rangers Red Dragon Thunderzord is Miss Transformed,
Of course, I informed the lady behind the counter about it, but as i clearly saw, it did not mean much to her, well, at least she promised me to give it to the display case agents.

This female mallard cruised by the shoreline, expecting a handout from us. She was feeding on the floating Azolla, sometimes called duckweed, although, that's really an incorrect name for this plant, but I couldn't resist the duck and duckweed title.

This lighthouse marks a dangerous promontory on the west side of the Cape Peninsula, facing the open Atlantic. The site is popular for weddings. Located near the village of Kommetjie, about 30 km (20 mi) south of Cape Town. (Thanks to UNC site)
This wasn't taken on World 127 Film Day; I took it a couple of days
earlier. However, it was shot in my Sawyer Mark IV 127 tlr camera, on
expired Maco 200 film. Maco film has a very thick base that does not
wind very tightly on the spool, leaving spaces for light to penetrate
from the flange area. As a result, I often get -- as here --
tomato-coloured light leaks.
I took two shots of this sunset at Little Harbour, one of the several
small harbours that make up Archies. The other one doesn't have a
light leak but the colours matched so well I like this one better.
This small hairstreak stayed in the same general spot for most of the morning. It was always just above head height but did not seem too bothered by my efforts to get a photo of it. Nevertheless I did not manage a really good one, though I am very happy with the video I got of it.
A definite ID was not given. However it is an endemic if the ID is correct.

From a very inspiring original by sunata titled, Summer Fashion 007.
I thought this was a great shot...the mannequins reminded me of Blue Man group,,,in orange, lol! I don't know if you have them in Australia, but is preety cool. Anyway, the photographer had commented that the image was somewhat dark...so, I duplicated the backgound layer and applied a lyer mask to it with no reveal. I had this layer set for "screen" mode and painted in white on the layer mask. I used the airbrush to paint with...and did it in the darkest areas, pants, shoes, some of the faces, etc.
I then used the regular lasso tool and selected the top shoulder of the plaid shirt. I copied this to a new layer and applied it as a multiplier to darken the harsh light. I used the transform function on the flattened version to make the wall inseam vertical, and painted black across the top of the sign. Oh, and I touched up the baseboard some too.
Thank you sunata for letting me work on your wonderful photo.
