Without realizing it I have been thinking small for several days now. I have been reading, with great interest, about the Olympus OM-D E-M5 micro 4/3rds camera. From all that I've read about it I think it's going to be a winner. I've already placed a pre-order for the kit with the 12-50 zoom and battery grip. This picture is a screen capture from the DPReview.com web site comparing the size of the E-M5 to Canon Rebel T3 which I would assume is similar in size to my Rebel T2i. Another way I was thinking small is I took the picture of the screen with my iPhone which has the smallest sensor of any camera that I have.
I think probably the building was not painted intentionally to resemble a partly cloudy daytime sky with high diffuse clouds? It just faded unevenly to that condition, right?

I used the extension tubes to get this! Only natural lighting was used. Minimal editing was done.

I took a series of photos for a brochure circa 1987. These are some old proof prints I did that were scanned. The original images were shot using an Olympus OM-2N 35 mm film camera, Zuiko 20 mm f/1.8 lens, and a Kodak B&W film optimized for graphics. The last gave a very high contrast tot the photos and was used because I had some left in the camera.
I think this guy sort of had the pretty girl on his right in mind when he was doing some sort of trick on his board. A group of skaters, protesting their access rights to use the streets; I am pretty sure they can't use the sidewalks, nor the bike lanes.
Photo taken on Hastings Street in downtown Vancouver.

Since yesterday users based in Singapore, Germany, Hong Kong or Korea can't turn off their SafeSearch filter. This is effectively censoring flickr.com for users with Yahoo IDs from those countries. More on SafeSearch here: www.flickr.com/help/filters/
Fav this picture, download it and post it on your account, tag it thinkflickrthink, add it to www.flickr.com/groups/againstcensorship/ - let's make it show up all over the place.

At the UCSD Stuart Collection, Naim June Paik, "the grandfather of video art," has a sculpture called "Something Pacific." Here on the wall outside of the Media Center, Paik as the thinker looking at a watchman. Here is a warning to those that put too much faith in the medium.
This image belongs to an exhibition I did in Madrid called "Think twice" (EFTI, May6th-30th, 2005). The work intends to portrait the dramatic lifestyle contrasts in Los Angeles, CA, USA. Poverty opposed to wealthness. Each image consists of two pictures together.

Another in my self portrait series, turning the camera on myself, not sure that I like this one but I need to get into a rhythm doing this.
