I think probably the building was not painted intentionally to resemble a partly cloudy daytime sky with high diffuse clouds? It just faded unevenly to that condition, right?

Sedos presents Ophelia Thinks Harder, a riotous reworking of Hamlet (where Ophelia gets all the best lines), by Jean Betts and William Shakespeare.

BRIDEWELL THEATRE | 28 September-2 October 2021

Ophelia Thinks Harder is a heightened, confused and darkly-funny world, where Shakespeare meets feminism. And this time Ophelia gets all the best lines.

all it takes is one idea and you could change the world---

Scratchy negatives, and some reticulation, taken by my father.

I’m needing some Vitamin Green on this gloomy early spring day in Minnesota (where the northern part of the state is getting ice and snow again), so catching up on some previously unshared images. Another love note from Mother Nature on variegated kiwi vine.

She thinks if she hides, she won’t have to go out in the snow.

I saw these in a yard while walking the dogs this afternoon - I really like the way they look.

I think of myself as a ‘hunter of images’. I love to find beautiful scenes just as they are, without adding filters, retouching, manipulation and using only available light. I think of my camera and my lenses like a painter thinks of a brush and paint: they’re the tools I use to show the world as I see it.

I’m never happier than when I have my camera with me and I’m shooting. Then I forget my back’s broken (yes, I can walk), that some things worry me, that things aren’t as they’re supposed to. When I’m taking photographs, life is perfect, joyful, I’m in awe of the things I find, and I’m always moved by life and beauty on this planet. I tend to use my macro lens a lot —it’s my favourite—, but well, on a trip I jump from the macro to the zoom. My cameras have always been Nikon, and these were taken with a D80.

These photos were taken on my second trip to India, almost 20 years after the first one, and some of these photographs will be part of an exhibit soon. Their names and info, plus many more photos are on my site. You’re welcome to visit it. Which are your favourites?

...but I think I'm going to need a little advice from everyone! (I hope my sister doesn't look at my photostream too often!)

I'm making this for my sister and BIL with the vintage sheets leftover from decorating the lids of their wedding favours. I thought it would make a nice wedding momento. :)
