(L to R) Mike Rudolph, Steve Kee, Dan Cary and Ron Hilberger, all fishing vessel safety examiners from the Coast Guard's Marine Safety Unit Portland, take time for a group photo. The four men just completed an 18-hour drill conductor's course in which they taught local commercial fishermen how to conduct various emergency drills for the crews aboard their own vessels. Think in ways you've never thought before.
If the phone rings, think of it as carrying a message
Larger than anything you've ever heard,
Vaster than a hundred lines of Yeats.
Think that someone may bring a bear to your door,
Maybe wounded and deranged; or think that a moose
Has risen out of the lake, and he's carrying on his antlers
A child of your own whom you've never seen.
When someone knocks on the door,
Think that he's about
To give you something large: tell you you're forgiven,
Or that it's not necessary to work all the time,
Or that it's been decided that if you lie down no one will die.

Camera still broken and unlikely to get fixed any time soon. Meanwhile I've been sorting through old photos on my computer, so I'll probably upload a few of these I previously overlooked.

If I was a straight guy, I think it would be harder to take photos of girls chests without incident.
I think they noticed the blinking red light, though. Will someone wake the guard dog, please? What kinda low-budget operation is this? Did you learn psychology from watching a video of "Raising Cain"? Gah.
Think Up students are putting the final touches on their website and their products before they present today!

I think this is a small species of wolf spider, I didn´t get pictures of its back to help get an id but it was sitting on a tree branch so if anyone can help ID, it would be much appreciated.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.

I don't think KKK would be issued on a British numberplate in the PC era of 'multicultural' Britain, like this Cologne-registered Dacia (K-KK 1969) outside the Ford factory in Saarlouis! ...Addendum: I must correcet my false assumption: 'KKK' IS issued.
found this quote when searching through general moon quotes and it really made me think. it is so completly true. what are we doing spending thousands exploring new areas of the solar system if we can't even support the people in the areas we already claim?
