A Thin Place was regarded as a marginal realm, beyond everyday human experience and perception, where mortals could pass into the Otherworld more easily or make contact with those in the Otherworld more willingly.
‘Thin Place’ curated by Ciara Healy, presents the work of five artists living on the west coast of Wales & Ireland. The exhibition aims to show how art, literature, science and theology are interconnected, especially when addressing questions concerning the meaning of our existence.
Useful for long hair breeds only (Angora & Lion Head etc)
One blade is normal, the other is segmented so that only half of the hair is cut. I use this in Summer to thin my Angora's fur back so she is cooler.
Use with caution as per ANY scissors.

I like thin crust pizza, but this crust tastes like cardboard.
In We're Here!, the theme is one of my favorite things: Pizza! I love pizza. This particular cardboard is from the box of a DiGiorno's three-meat rising crust pizza.
Enjoy my cardboard pizza, my cleavage, my super-sexy expression, and my new compression gloves. They're the Tommie Copper brand and I've been wearing them for 36 hours. They seem to be helping. I'm not sure I buy into the whole "copper" thing for health, but they are quite comfortable and the compression seems to be helping with my pain issues.

I forgot i made a snoot out of a box from christmas. I thought i would have go at a thinner rectangular one instead of a spot light. It works pretty well, you can have it horizontal so it's a thin light across the eyes, this is obviously vertical.
Don't know why i look so grumpy!!
Clovers and other plants are able to grow in areas previously choked out by overgrowth of Ponderosa pine trees on Joe Purcell's ranch near Lolo, Mont. A forest management plan developed with NRCS helped Joe thin trees and improve forest health. Missoula County, Montana. June 2017.

WILD WEEKEND!
It's gonna be a new thing, just you wait. Wild weekend, I will start every Saturday with a picture of an animal, much like Cory's Fireworks Fridays and Tom's Castle Mondays.
I was a Sanaa when I took this shot, eating lunch. It was one of those true Disney moments, not having been eating for 20 minutes and boom, a giraffe. One thing that really gets me about the giraffe is just how THIN they are. You very often see them from the side, or a three-quarters view and you know they are tall and fairly long. But when you see one head-on, they aren't very wide at all. Very thin. Beautiful creatures, though.
Picture is virtually untouched other than some RAW exposure balancing and Nik's Sharpener Pro.
I made these heart-shaped for the love of Valentine's Day. Also I thought it upped the cuteness. I don't have any photos from dipping because it was a mess and I didn't have a photo assistant. Dipping tip: I needed twice as much melted chocolate and I found mixing a tablespoon or two of coconut oil into it helped both the flavor and the ease of coating the cookies.

Thinning projects in the area are part of the Rocky Point-White Swan Forest Resilience Targeted Implemntation Plan (TIP) under Montana Focused Conservation (MFC) and complement other projects completed by CSKT. This TIP is in partnership with Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, Lake County Conservation District, and the Montana Departmnet of Natural Resources and Conservation. The purpose of the TIP is to improve forest resilience to weather and pest issues, decrease the likelihood of catastrophic wildfire in the Wildland Urban Interface, and improve forest health. This work may also decrease risk to homes in the area from wildfire. Lake County, MT. June 2021.

The Dixie Brewing Company is a craft brewery based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Dixie Brewing was founded and began production in 1907 and is the only remaining large volume brewery within the city of New Orleans, a city that once was home to several major breweries (most notably, Falstaff). Several microbreweries and brewpubs exist in the city, and the popular Abita Brewing Company is located nearby.
In 2005, the Dixie Brewery was severely damaged when Mid-City New Orleans flooded from the levee failure disaster during Hurricane Katrina. After the area was dewatered the brewery complex was looted with much of the equipment stolen. Despite early claims that the brewery would be restored, it remains off line as of October 2009 and the future of the facilities is uncertain.
The brand remains in business, brewed under contract by breweries elsewhere.
The Dixie Brewing brewery was featured in the 1984 movie Tightrope with Clint Eastwood.
Noticed this colour pattern on the surface of a thin fim (bubble) that had formed in the neck of a well known cleaning product, tried to move flask, pop! bubble gone and unable to repeat!
