Broadleaf Arrowhead (Sagittaria latifolia) has paper thin, three-petalled white flowers. It is found natively to Hawai, the Caribbean and the northern part of South America. It is also widespread across North America and is considered an invasive weed in Europe and Australia. The Indians ate the tubers, and it is also referred to as Indian potato. The tubers can be eaten raw, or be cooked for 15-20 minutes. It tastes like potatoes and chestnuts and can be roasted, fried, boiled or turned into flour. It is rich in Vit A, B and C.

Combine the shallow-depth-of-field with Sony NEX-6's latest face-tracking auto focus, and you can see how the moving video keeps the model's pretty blue eyes in focus, while blurring the background! The Sony Alpha NEX 6 has much better bokeh than the cameras I have been using! :)
She was tall, thin, fit, toned, defined, and beautiful!

Close to the where the River Lee Navigation heads under the A12, the graffiti on the bridge now says "hang the thin.." and the boat says Essex Girl in a fluke of timing..
Area being thinned in a private project. Logger had an accidental fire, confined to thinned area. Thinning projects in the area are part of the Rocky Point-White Swan Forest Resilience Targeted Implemntation Plan (TIP) under Montana Focused Conservation (MFC) and complement other projects completed by CSKT. This TIP is in partnership with Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, Lake County Conservation District, and the Montana Departmnet of Natural Resources and Conservation. The purpose of the TIP is to improve forest resilience to weather and pest issues, decrease the likelihood of catastrophic wildfire in the Wildland Urban Interface, and improve forest health. This work may also decrease risk to homes in the area from wildfire. Lake County, MT. June 2021. Flathead Reservation, Lake County, MT. June 2021.

Mint chocolate cupcakes with Girl Scouts' Thin Mints in the cake. Mint cream cheese frosting with crushed Thin Mints in it. All topped with more Thin Mint!
These Thins that all the biscuit companies are bringing out are FANTASTIC, they taste great and you can eat loads! However (as proved by the next few shots) my pre-holiday diet has started so I think this is the last unhealthy food I ate!
My take on quite possibly my favorite Girl Scout cookie ever! Rich chocolate cake flavored w/ ground thin mints, topped with a layer of Ganache, Cool minty buttercream and a Thin mint wedge for garnish.

How I'm spending this snowy Saturday. I always thin my lugs, but this customer asked if I would make them as thin as possible. This lug doesn't look super thin in these pics, but compare it to the other lug that you can see in one of the images... I just hope that the painter can put the paint on thin enough that the shore lines don't just disappear.
