Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes' commercial logging site on Flathead Reservation. Commercial projects are also used for forest management of the WUI in Lake County. This thinning project is in the same area as the Rocky Point-White Swan Forest Resilience Targeted Implemntation Plan (TIP) under Montana Focused Conservation (MFC). The purpose of the TIP is to improve forest resilience to weather and pest issues, decrease the likelihood of catastrophic wildfire in the Wildland Urban Interface, and improve forest health. Lake County, MT. June 2021.
This is a carbon fiber rig made of four layers of 6 oz carbon cloth with no inner core. Although very strong, this frame was not as stiff as I had hoped so I did not use it very much. To pack into a smaller profile, the legs are removable and the Picavet folds flat.
Ah yet more Orthopyroxene (the grey and white and yellow and black stuff) with interstitial clinopyroxene (the purple stuff), and there should be some plagioclase in there somewhere. XPL, wof: 4.25mm.

A Thin Place was regarded as a marginal realm, beyond everyday human experience and perception, where mortals could pass into the Otherworld more easily or make contact with those in the Otherworld more willingly.
‘Thin Place’ curated by Ciara Healy, presents the work of five artists living on the west coast of Wales & Ireland. The exhibition aims to show how art, literature, science and theology are interconnected, especially when addressing questions concerning the meaning of our existence.

A pitch I completed while at Foundation Post in Chicago. We completed this pitch for the ad agency's internal pitch. My design won internally within the agency and with the client. The final spot was produced by Shilo. They did a great job! View the final piece here: www.geraldmarksoto.com/893876/Wheat-Thins-Can-t-Hide-Snac...

I made these heart-shaped for the love of Valentine's Day. Also I thought it upped the cuteness. I don't have any photos from dipping because it was a mess and I didn't have a photo assistant. Dipping tip: I needed twice as much melted chocolate and I found mixing a tablespoon or two of coconut oil into it helped both the flavor and the ease of coating the cookies.

A Girl Scout Cookie Thin Mint Conspiracy? Left box is from Wisconsin, right from Georgia. Can people from the upper midwest and the south not handle the same cookies? Are they trying to feed us trans fat here in Georgia?
