He was sitting on the stoop. He was sitting in a daze. There was Bachata music and bass vibrating the floor, the side rails and his beer. People came in and out and moved around him like he was an island. It was early in the morning for me that day, but I could have understood how it could have been late in one’s night too. The editor sent me here and I knew no one. He looked like a cool dude, so I sat next to him, with my camera in my hand, and became an island too. I needed to find out some information before photographing the assignment.

I saw some wee people when I was at the grocery store today. Meaning the idea popped into my head.
This was done in about ten minutes so that I could post and go see True Detective. I know a small glitch on the left side of the apple.....ugh.

Independence Day - Macy's 4th of July Fireworks in New York City - Viewed from New Jersey.
This couple from London asked me to take their photograph with their camera, which I did... then I asked if they wouldn't mind indulging me with a panoramic portrait of them. I wish that I'd moved slightly to one side or another so as not to have that lamp pole sticking out of the head of the woman on the left, but so it goes.
I'm embarrassed to say that I can't recall their names, although I did get an email address so that I could send this.
