According to Mayor Bloomberg the NYC Waterfalls art project gave the city 68.6 million dollars in economic activity,13.4 million more than expected. (The falls were shut off October 13,2008) The mayor claims the falls drew 79,200 tourists who came specifically for them and who also extended their visits to the city to see them.

Another capture from down under the Manhattan Bridge, New York. The imposing structure of the East tower seems to stand guard over entry to the city.

Manhattan is silhouetted in the background as we look down on Queens, with LaGuardia Airport to the right, behind Citi Field.

I don't usually like selective colourisation but felt that no trip to new york would be complete without a black and white image with the bright yellow taxi
