火車在離開華欣一個半小時之後，才抵達巴蜀。我們拖著疲憊的身軀下了火車。
「既然身為一個府的首府，應該不會太鄉下，到火車站在想辦法去旅館吧。」在火車上的時候，我是這麼想的。我又錯了。
從火車站往外一看，街道兩旁的店家早已休息，房屋的鐵門都緊閉著，只剩下路燈的亮光閃爍著。整個就是死城的氣氛。站前小廣場只剩下一輛嘟嘟車停靠著，司機也不見蹤影。
我們想住的旅館離火車站還有一段距離，但當時也不想走路，只好再車站附近尋找嘟嘟車司機。
我們很快地找到司機，告訴他旅館的名字後，問了價格。
"neung roy baht." (100泰銖。)
背著背包、提著行李的我們一副就是死觀光客的模樣，然後又在深夜抵達人生地不熟的地方，要是被宰也只好認了。
我們上了嘟嘟車，沒多久就到了。真的被宰了。
我們下車進旅館詢問是否還有空房。不幸的是，旅館已經客滿了。正當我們不知所措時，旅館老闆和老闆娘非常好心幫我們打電話問了其他旅館。還好還有一家旅館有空房，但是，離這裡又有一段距離。我轉頭看了一眼門外，嘟嘟車司機還在。又要被宰一次了。
"klai, klai! neung roy hah sip baht." ( 很遠很遠! 150泰銖。)
我嘆了口氣，一定又被坑了，但又懶得跟他殺價。這次雖然距離比較遠，但是一定不用150 銖。最後到達旅館後，司機以勝利者的微笑接過我們的鈔票，騎車揚長而去。唉，就當夜間加成吧。

I developed my second concept: The superhero has conquered Cereal Mountain with nothing but a spoon! What a feat! :)
In terms of composition and readability, I think I was successful. But I had very different plans for the coloring. I'm really, really held back by the fact that I have little experience with Photoshop and Illustrator. I had intended to digitally paint this piece to add shadows and depth, but I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the background, let alone use any brushes (yes, even after a couple tutorials and endless attempts). So I was limited to live painting. It took away a lot of the detail I had in my penned drawing, but the blocky coloring adds to the comic-like aesthetic of the final design.
