For some strange reason the flickr autotagger thinks the carnations and greenery are text !!!
The picture above is of a large Soviet era World War II memorial in Sighnaghi constructed on a wall in the town center. The plaque is crammed full of names of fallen soldiers.
Roadside snap in Macau. The blue Chinese text 政府註册 正版正貨 actually means: "Government registered. Genuine products.".
The black character is the traditional style 藥, meaning "Medicine" (药 in "simplified Chinese", pronounced yào in Mandarin).
This sign is hanging on a Traditional Chinese Medicine shop in the alley that leads up to the famous Ruins of St. Pauls.
