In Wyoming men use chewing tobacco at rates well above the national average. And
women there are even worse. Chew is part of the cowboy heritage of this state.
Research showed that most people quit chewing because of pressure from their spouse
or significant other. This campaign is a reminder how gross and harmful the habit is. It
was placed on pump toppers at gas stations, where the product is purchased.

Another that could hint at many different stories.
Is it a caged beast waiting to be unleashed? iI it behind bars due to the crime of wasting the Earths natural resources? Does it represent how drivers feel about the governments tax hikes aimed at them . . . . . . .?
I'll let you find your own story here.

Gene & Marianne are appraisers of music ephemera. Here we're reading a letter from Eleanor Roosevelt to Leopold Mannes, who was a composer who also was one of the two inventors of Kodachrome. The letter is inviting the Mannes' to a party she is having for Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Lash -- who later became her biographer.
Gene was sorting letters by content -- into a music pile and a photography pile.
Do you like this? It's easy, it just takes a bit of Stylized Wind.

Milton C. Mumford, 83, chairman of Lever Brothers Co. from 1964 to 1971, served in Chicago during the post-World War II era as the City of Chicago's housing and redevelopment coordinator and as vice president of Marshall Field & Co. In the latter position, he headed the retailer's Fieldcrest Mills division.
A resident of Pebble Beach, Calif., he died Saturday at home.
"He was very pleasant," his nephew, Manly, said. "Everyone who knew him mentioned how polite he was. He was a person who was very interested in education."
Mr. Mumford joined Lever Brothers as a vice president in 1954 shortly after Marshall Field sold off its Fieldcrest Mills Division. He then became president and chief executive officer of Lever Brothers in 1959 and chairman in 1964. He retired in 1971. The company is the U.S. subsidiary of Unilever, the British-Dutch conglomerate.
During his chairmanship, the company was noted for its highly visible, widely advertised products such as Lifebuoy soap and Close-Up toothpaste.
In a 1966 address to the American Association of Advertising Agencies, he called for the agencies to inform the public better about the role of advertising in the economy.
He subsequently served as chairman of the Ford Foundation's Educational Facilities Laboratories. He was also a director of National Educational Television Service and the National Merit Scholarship Foundation as well as a trustee of Northwestern University.
A graduate of the University of Illinois, he joined Marshall Field's in 1935. During World War II, he was special assistant to the chief of naval personnel, Vice Adm. Louis E. Denfield. He was awarded the Legion of Merit for his service.
In 1947 and 1948, he headed Chicago's housing and redevelopment programs that were financed by a major bond issue for slum clearance approved by voters in November 1947.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothea; a son, Christopher; a daughter, Letitia Vollenweider; and a grandson.
