Alphabacon

I'm not really sure why I did bacon. To be honest, I really really REALLY dislike handling raw or cold meat of any kind. I'm not a vegetarian, it just squicks me out.

 

This bacon is actually turkey bacon, and was raw when the images were taken. Turkey bacon actually is very grey when it's raw, so there was a lot of color editing. All forms were taken on a white background, and all photos were eventually cropped to achieve smooth, consistent edges.

 

I kept the dark shadows in because I thought it gave the bacon more...body? I liked how they looked because it provided some variety that was also consistent.
