This is a retelling of "The Cage" it's interesting because the previous issue puts this story it it's proper chronological context, and this version is told from Yeoman Colt's perspective!

A golden version of the Japanese word for black tea, 紅茶, pronounced kocha (or, if you want to be pedantic about it, koucha (or kōcha, where "ō" indicates a long "o" sound), since the first syllable has a long "o" sound that most non-Japanese wish didn't exist and do their best to forget).

My dear Mr.Sibree

It was owing to my neglect that Marys letter was put into our bag without having prepaid written on it. You must allow me to make the proper amende by sending the enclosed stamps. Unless you are quite weary of me I shall hope to have a continuation of your last letter soon. But in either case whether you are weary of me or not, I am

Ever you sincere friend
