37.5 million people have dementia worldwide - more than live in Canada

our Founder Sarah Corbett delivered a talk at the 'Emporium of Invaluable Insights' tent in Shambala Festival, UK 2014. The tent & speakers where hosted by Futerra.

Founder of Futerra Ed Gillespie said: "Sarah inspired us to stitch and bitch with the best, urging elegant and beautiful provocations with graft that shift perceptions and behaviours, campaigning has never looked so artful."

Here is the board summary of Sarah's talk created by @VisualMinutes illustrators during the talk and left for festival-goers to read throughout the festival.

Designed by Luigi Vanvitelli in 1752 for the Bourbon King Charles and his son Ferdinand, the palace is the largest by volume of any royal residence in Europe, with over 1,200 rooms and covering over 47,000 sq meters.

While I support the artform known as graffiti, I do not condone any act or form of vandalism or any illegal activity relating to such whether it be to private, commercial, or public property.

On October 7, 2013 about 80 people joined in AFSC’s monthly vigil at the GEO run ICE immigration detention facility. Three families, each affected in different ways shared their sadness, frustration and gratitude with those gathered. Jeanette Vizguerra, having once been detained there, shared her gratitude for community support and diligence. Silvia, her son currently detained in the facility, shared her sadness at being brutally separated from him. And Genevieve, her step father currently detained there, for over 11 months, waiting to receive news regarding his U Visa application, shared her frustration at the lack of humanity in the prolonged wait. Those present included Regis University, University of Colorado at Denver and Metropolitan State University students, trying to make sense of our broken immigration system. They joined in as clergy, Rev. Anne Dunlap, led prayer with the community.

A really disturbing look at the "other side" of the Vietnam war, the side that we never get to see in the West. Includes sections on the use of "Agent Orange" by the US forces as well as some really disturbing photographs of atrocities that were perpetrated during this war by the "liberating forces". Provides a balanced view of this horrific war. In one section it provides evidence of the massive protest by American citizens against this war. After going through this museum I was actually amazed at how friendly the people of Vietnam are when dealing with people from the West considering that they do not know if we are American or not. It is more obvious now that this was a "politicians" war, like most wars are. This museum actually brought tears to my eyes, something I am not normally prone to. Despite what has been portrayed in Hollywood, there was no glory in this war.

A classic blue-sky day, and a classic Rocky Mountain scramble. This route is very popular with locals for good reason. The views are great, and the trail makes for a great workout.
