These are for a project-in-progress, but I like the way they were subconsciously assembled when I moved them.

Results

Federal HST 230gr +P, performed perfectly, full expansion (.59) and 99% weight retention.

Hornady Critical Duty 220gr , Performed Perfectly, full expansion (.61) and 99% weight retention.

Winchester Ranger 230gr, Once again perfect performance, Expansion to (.52) 98% weight retention.

Bottom row , left to right

Hornady Critical Defense 185gr, Expansion to (.47) 75% weight retention (Did not exit soft tissue, lodged in the fat)

Dynamite Research Technologies 150gr EXP, Failure did not expand.100% weight retention, Hollow point area filled with denim material and exited tissue with terminal velocity..Not recommended

Speer Gold Dot 230gr, This round hit the shoulder bone center and square, the wound channel was massive and shattered the beef leg bone, and the bullet disintegrated and did not exit soft tissue, recovered weight from the three largest pieces totaled 192.3gr,so the weight retention was still very good, as far as my personal opinion this is still a great carry round for the .45ACP platform.

My choice is still the Federal HST and the Hornady Critical Duty as my carry ammo.

This was just a test shot to make sure my camera settings were right, but Ava decided to smile anyway.

Hmm, shooting stars is hard with a small sensor and lot of light pollution...

Test Site Rotterdam

Test Site Rotterdam is a project by the IABR and the architecture office ZUS that focuses on the Rotterdam Central District. Vitality must be restored to this urban district. Although in today’s market economy, it’s hard to say when that will happen. Experiments with strategies to revitalize the heart of the city using alternative forms of funding, planning processes and design tools are taking place at Test Site Rotterdam. The projects include the Roof Gardens, Park Pompenburg and an elevated walkway (the Luchtsingel). Test Site Rotterdam runs until 2014 and is one of the platforms on which the 6th IABR is being developed.

Carmen will take a vacation soon and will return full customized !^^ This is just a "for teh lulz" test I made, just because I thought she was so sad without any make-up, after I sanded her little face!^^'

~~~~
Nos próximos dias a Carmen vai tirar umas férias, vai lá pro "Spa da Julia", e ai voltará novinha em folha (mais do que ela já é, na verdade!xD) pra casa, de cara nova!=)
Isso nem chega a ser um "teste", porque o que tentei fazer de fato eu "apaguei" (acabou ficando só a "sombra" e o "blush" _sim, tudo entre aspas mesmo!XD), mas como ela parecia TÃO triste sem nenhuma maquiagem/expressão no rostinho, desenhei umas sobrancelhas (que também serão tristonhas na custom <3), cílios (hahah, cílios super longos porque nos meus desenhos meus personagens têm todos cílios imensos!) e uma boquinha pra ela sorrir e parecer menos chateada por essa mãe louca ter tirado ela da caixa e já ter lixado tudo sem dó!='D
Aliás, sério, não tem coisa MAIS GOSTOSA do que tacar a lixa na cara de uma pullip, hahaha, claro que só tive coragem porque sou retardad... ops, porque não gosto nem um pouco da make na Nahh-ato e porque já tinha conversado com a Julia que, caso eu não conseguisse nada que prestasse, iria gritar por socorro!xD (foi o que fiz!xD)
Enfim, até que está simpática, e também tirei fotos porque quero comparar com a lindeza que ela vai voltar pra casa!*_* Vai ter dentinhos, omg, dentes MESMO, eu amo as pullips com carved que a Julia fez, sou apaixonada, e finalmente terei a minha dentuça!*o*~♥
A peruca vai ter que ser essa até a que quero pra ela (pretendo comprar semana que vem, acho) chegar (e deve demorar... porque, né, LOLRECEITA E LOLCORREIOS)... e os eyechips quero trocar também, mas como, né LOLRECEITA e LOLCORREIOS vou ver se lixo uns de Blythe/Byul aqui (já vi que dá nuns tutoriais) e se consigo fazer funcionar! Se não der, bom, paciência!^^'
Agora vamos todos dançar porque amanhã é FRIDAY FUN-FUN-FUN!*___*
Its not my most impressive long exposure but I'm proud of it nonetheless as it is my first successful test at using welding glass for super long daytime long exposure photography.
Rather than spend $120 on a professional grade 10 stop ND filter I thought I could save a few bucks by using super dark welder's glass. I picked up a 4'1/2 x 5'1/4 sheet of 10 shade welding glass and fastened it to my camera using rubber bands. The glass stops the light down about 13 stops which makes it perfect for super long exposures. The one issue is that the glass gives images a strong green tint, it is correctable in post but the results aren't great for anything other than previews or converting to black and white. To counter this I found that by fastening the glass to the camera and pointing it at a light source (the sun in most cases) there is enough data to create a custom white balance. Once the data is recorded I set the white balance to the custom one I just created and start the exposure. The resulting image has a bluish tint with some lingering green but it is much easier to correct in post and the results are pretty good.
While setting up scenes, I don't draw them out, I just keep adding and subtracting and taking test shots until it works out.
During Feb/March 1987 tests were carried out in the RTC sidings to assess wagon axle bearing damage due to shunting impacts. 08021 'Eric' was used to loose shunt instrumented wagons into stationary loaded wagons at speeds up to 8 mile/h.
This is the point of impact between the OCA wagon on the left and the loaded stationary wagon on the right. The buffers are fully compressed.
I really enjoy finding bits of test strips left in the lab, naturally damaged by each other. It's somewhat poetic.
Shutter speed testing on an Argus A. Funny, there's no difference between the 100 and 200 setting. They both read about 1/80th.
Here's the rear view picture of the tester in the film plane. The sensor on the Phochron is right on the front edge of the case.
