From this past weekend's test shoot, just a quick export without any serious editing. This was my first real shoot with the Nikon D300 - so far I'm much happier with the color response than I've been with previous bodies.
Lighting was a single Profoto Acute2 head in a Mola Demi beauty dish, feathered forward to even out the coverage.
Tests from a NASA event at Summit Point Raceway for my 7D coupled with my 300mm and 70-200. Also had my 5D in hand to make sure it was dialed-in. Finally figured the AF System to work for how I shoot. Really would like to make the 7D work for me. Still undecided though :-/
I built a car for my Crash Test Dummy; heavily inspired [color-wise, anyway] by one from the Test Track queue. This was another quick build [an all-nighter] between larger projects.
Check out all of the pictures at MOCpages.
Contact print made from a negative produced in an Ensign box camera. Printed on Foma warm tone paper. I was trying to use the old Kodak contact printer I have, but even with a 7.5 watt bulb, 2 second exposures are slightly too much.
I bought another new camera (The G.A.S. is bad at the moment), anyway I digress - Needless to say I thought I'd test how easy/quickly I could go from taking the image to editing on a phone and then uploading to Flickr. Total time was about five minutes and tbh even though the image is nothing amazing it was more a test of the process. Needless to say it worked and maybe something I'll use more often - or not.
Test sewing for dynamite dollfie dream body ^^ still gotta work out the kinks with the groin part ^^;
First one of 2012 testing the waters a bit with this one, this spot has been going since the 80's but is that temperamental it's untrue. After finding out the Copperworks is going its time to visit an old friend. Always love this spot trackside high smooth walls. Wanted to paint something a bit more special today but still had a good one.

Having recorded Clan Line hammering up the gradient between Shrewsbury and Upton Magna half an hour earlier, 35028 sounded superb. here taking on water at Telford Central i would expect the test to have been passed with flying colours
10/12/2013; Just one of the many projections that I have seen on the Mozes en Aaronkerk during the Amsterdam Light Festival, while I had another (planned) close encounter with a tram.
