Every 4 weeks a Network Rail test train operates from York to Manchester Piccadilly seen in the evening sun at Huddersfield, with 43272 & 43250 still in LNER colours.

A test run comprised mostly of not yet in service CRRC bilevels departs Montreal West on its way downtown. Threatening clouds are nearby and it will pour about twenty minutes later. It is rumored that these cars will enter service within a month or two.

The Zoomer and Mr. Monkey, took their
time investigating this giant smorgasbord!
The odor was overwhelming! Way Big Stink!
The Zoomer zoomed, The Monkey scampered.
Both dogs consumed a large amount of water cuz
they had been nibbling on the cow manure bags.
( talk about butt breath! )
73 minutes later we packed our gear and headed
back to base camp. Both dogs are washed & fed ;)
( I followed suit )
FYI -
We encounter 9-13-21, +/-, street dogs on
our way 2 and from the mud cobra field.
It's hard 2 see in this photo but there's
a red plastic bottle with some yellow
on it that's full of baseball size
stones used for CQC ;)---

The maiden test runs of new CFCLA loco VL351 occured in the Adelaide Hills working on a grain train to Tailem Bend and return on 10-07. The return working 3R82 with CLP14,CLF5,2207,VL351 is at Belair waiting for a cross.

1st test shot with the 10-20mm Sigma, got a week to learn what works with it before it get's a serious work out.. This was just to see if it worked, and was sharp enough, the weather was dull and cold so not an ideal test.
