A moonlight version - trying to get that cold/greenish light

Fisheye view of Epcot's Test Track thrill ride at night. Test Track is probably my favorite ride/attraction in Epcot, albeit I don't think this theme park is necessarily known for its "rides." I used the Nikon 10.5mm DX fisheye for this shot. Nice lens, but it may not be wide-enough to really create that "fisheye" effect.

Comments welcome. Thanks for Stopping By!

InterCity Express Train (IET) Class 802/2, 802 201 works a nighttime test train from Crewe to Warrington Bank Quay. 802 202 was the lead unit heading north.

Whilst 802202 remains in unliveried grey, 802201 is already in the livery of TransPennine Express who these units are destined for.

802201 and 802202 were working 5Q82 Crewe to Warrington, having earlier come across from Doncaster IEP Depot on 5Q80/81 via Mirfield. They completed three return trips to Warrington before the units then returned to Mirfield/Doncaster.

A further loaded test run around the Carnforth circuit for Bulleid 'Merchant Navy' Class no. 35018 'British India Line' took place on the 7th March 2018. Here the train passes Armistead on the Little North Western line, still showing signs of a continuing problem. Nevertheless, on this occasion, the whole circuit was completed.

Yesterday we looked out our windows and saw people and equipment on the Sheboygan River.. I thought it might be Coast Guard practicing ice rescue, something they do annually. When I went to check it out, I discovered that they were ice fishermen. They said they had tested the ice and it appeared to be 6"thick. The less than cautious fishermen were very fortunate not to need an ice rescue team.

Here is an overview shot of me at my test station and hobby work area set up on my dinner table. It is hardly a glamour shot but is typical of me at home working on my model railroad. The raised platform on my table is the deck for my upper staging yard on my model railroad. There are photos of me building it last year. I pulled it off for several days so I could paint it without making a mess on my layout and get to the track on my lower staging yard. Piled on the deck are several of the tools I am using plus the paint pens for weathering the track. I painted the track a few pieces at a time on my plastic cutting board and have already completed that part of the operation. The track paint is water soluble and comes off easily in the kitchen sink.

For several months I have been weathering some of my bright and shiny Kato Unitrack using felt tip paint pens from Woodland Scenics. I paint the steel rails a brown-black color and some of the wooden crossties (sleepers in UK rail terminology) a dark brown color. That makes the track look a lot more realistic, but the paint must be removed from the top of the rails, the rail joiners, and certain parts of the switch points in order to maintain electrical continuity between the trains and track. After the paint has dried, I rub an abrasive Bright Boy along the tops of the rail, the metal portion of the Unijoiners, and the inside surfaces of the switch points.

I snap the Unijoiners back onto each piece of track and connect each weathered piece of track with my test rig. The 12 volt DC power is fed via the blue and white wires from my power supply to an unpainted S62F feeder track upstream from the items to be tested. In this case, I am testing a left hand #6 switch and several pieces of curved and straight track to make sure I have continuity. The red and black wires control the switch motor. I run the engine forward and backward on each route of the switch several times to insure a good electrical path. All of my newly painted track is tested on my work table before I install them on the layout.

Second test and still not satisfied: her mouth is too big and her eyelashes too thick and too long, so tonight I'll erase everything one more time, and redo it tomorrow morning, hope it will be the good one then...

Well a few days ago I bought my first speedlite. Yesterday I went to the woods for testing out the speedlite and learning how to use it.

This is one of the first shots.. Originally I bought it for portrait photography, to replace my Ikea lamp used for portrait pictures, but as I don't have models walking in and out of my house..

So, I liked the lightning and the midnight feel.. It was taken in bright sunlight.

I'll hope you like it to as this isn't a typical photo of me :)

PP: I cropped it a little bit an added a little touch of contrast.. So as good as OOC.

NR54 is seen here undertaking signal testing and commissioning at Table Top as the shadows of the day lengthen.

The loco has just departed the new Up Home Signal, EH6 towards Tynan Road.

Monday 15th March 2021.

I got a wooden doll pattern and decided to make a test doll. I really like how she turned out. I altered the design a bit. More photos to come!

She's a mini version about 8" tall, the full version is about 18". I'm in the process of making 3 more and getting into wood carving.

Pattern was taken from a McCall's doll from the 1800's?

Canadair 1962 built Lockheed CF-104 N104NL at Mojave Airport California in May 1992, at the time serving as a instrument flight test aircraft with Northern Lights Inc. Later based in Florida and was part of the Starfighters Display Team regularly performing at US aishows, this classic is still airworthy having a COA that does not expire until 2022 and believe it is now registered N104RB.
