R211 no. 4065 (Kawasaki, 2019-present) is the lead motor on a 5-car test train seen passing through 59th St Station on the 4th Avenue Line. These cars, along with the other 5 that are currently on the property, are undergoing a slew of performance tests and evaluations prior to entering revenue service in the system. Upon successful completion of the tests, production will commence on the rest of the R211 order as well.

Somewhat grainy from having been taken from the "dark side", but interesting enough to upload I thought... General Electric Test Platform Boeing 747-400 N747GF fitted with a new GE9X engine destined for the next generation of Boeing 777 airliners flies over Rainbow Canyon, Death Valley National Park, California, USA.
A recent UK find that I think are Wrexham test bricks. All marked 'Z' and pat pend. I will try to post some more pictures over the weekend. My favourite's the one second from the right, unfortunately I only have one of that colour! I may consider selling/trading some. :)
Haji Lane comes alive after hours - some of the places only open at 4pm and keep crankin' until 1 or 2am - so wandering around in the daytime can be surreal.
This odd mosaic-design pattern on the pillar of an Italian-themed bar resembles the old TV test patterns that would be aired when the station was off-air.

Alder Valley Bristol RESL comes down Station Road in Aldershot on August 23rd 1984. Judging by the incongruous blind display, it was most probably on a test run to/from the depot in Halimote Road.
This is a test video from the cruise, to see if it'll work ok. I didn't get a chance to video the heaviest of the seas we went through (considered "moderate"), which were about 10' swells. The swells in this video are about 6' (2m). It's hard to get a sense of scale in the video, but keep in mind this was taken from Deck 7, which is about 3 or 4 stories above the water.
You can see a container ship on the horizon in the beginning of the video.
This was taken in the Caribbean, off the northern coast of Columbia.

She will be on the body i working on now, the neck is little thicker than on the KW or DC bodies so to made a hybrid i will do some extension for the neck hole to made it possible.
Panavia Tornado GR.1P ZA326 at the South Wales Aviation Museum St Athan Glamorgan. Built at BAe Warton Lancashire in 1980 but suffering a engine fire on ground runs soon after. This delayed its first flight until March 1983, damage to the rear of the aircraft was repaired with new components from the production line, later delivered that same year to RAE Bedford for trials work. This continued after a move to A&AEE Boscombe Down Wiltshire in 1994 finally retiring in 2005 after 22 years of flight test work, also as the UK's last airworthy Tornado. Put into store before moving to the Cold War Jets at Bruntingthorpe Leicestershire in 2013 and a potential for fast taxy runs. After this airfield was sold ZA326 then moved to S.W.A.M. in 2018 where work progressed due to inside hangar work on restoration and spares source including two complete engines. This work done by the dedicated volunteers of the Panavia Tornado Preservation Group.
Footnote:- ZA326 was the only Tornado to be painted in the superb 'Raspberry Ripple' colour scheme.
