First things first: I did not knit the majority of this sweater. I brought along the yarn/notions/pattern with me on my recent trip to shanghai intending to work on it, but my mother was bored and wanted to work on something so she ended up knitting everything up until the cables at the yoke--not because she couldn't/wouldn't but because I wanted to.
Yarn: Patons Brilliant in Lilac Luster
Needles: #8
Pattern: Knitty's Tempting, with the Brilliant Cables from Catherine.
If I didn't have four perfectly-filled containers of these little goodies to bring to the critique, you can be sure I'd be indulging a little in advance. ;) Hopefully I'll remember to take photographic evidence of their consumption later...

Nah, not planning on getting them. They really ruin your feet!
AlanDejecacion: My sentiments!
tara.smith39: Well, to keep safe, I shan't wear them :)
In my white blouse, I stand with grace,
A red skirt swaying, in its perfect embrace,
The animal print belt, bold and fine,
I hold my glass, feel the sun’s soft shine.
With auburn hair, in layered fall,
Pearls at my neck, I take it all,
A sip of wine, a gentle tease,
I catch your eye, and aim to please.
Surrounded by green, in nature’s glow,
I feel the warmth, let desire show,
A playful glance, a knowing ease,
I wonder if I’ve tempted you to seize?

George is so tempted by the smell of the sugary cake. He gets close to smell it and tries to swipe a bit of frosting. Peppa sees what he is up to.

This is a pipe my friends and I used to explore as kids. It is about 4 feet in diameter. Not sure I would trust it 37 years on?

I wanted to eat it all but not at 15 euros !

Not certain that a 15 year old dowdy looking B7RLE/Eclipse of First Leeds would have me parking the car at home. 66715 YK04EZH heads down Vicar Lane in August 2019.
Another of my persimmon pictures, because the light that November day was so very special, golden, autumnal ....
Another lovely shot from my "post illuminations lets hang out and shoot photos" shoot with Uncle Greg. During the day I find this shot to be quite boring. Even if I were to have an empty park or some nice dark ND filters to make them disappear...it's just not something that I really find to be interesting, photographically.
What's been done, has been done.
This, however, was an exception. Having been inspired by Gregs 8+ shot HDR's he was shooting with, I decided to try the same. I usually do the standard 3 since I am usually tripodless, and honestly a lot of my HDR stuff ends up being hdr from a single raw. I had tried doing the more-than-three shot HDRs a try a few times but they never seemed to work for me.
Well, they worked a little better on this trip, and this is one of my favorite shots. It's very eerie yet magical at the same time. I love blue and I think it really fits the mood here. Also, I like that the moon does a good job of balancing the off-balance introduced by the extra foliage on the left!
What do YOU think?
