Temporary murals on boarded up empty store fronts. Will be gone after Shelter-In-Place EON75, @Maxehrman

The bored lad in the middle was really wandering around, so the only usable shot I got of the costumed super-heroine was this aligned capture. Another from my photo walk in London Docklands that coincided with London Super Comic Convention 2014.

The temporary pedestrian bridge over the railway into Winchester, just south of the St Cross Tunnel where roadworks are currently taking place.

OK so clearly I can't use my laptop somewhere like that so it was a paperwork day

Temporary tattoo art by Jessica H. Meyer. She was at the Point Time group show reception. Slocumb Galleries, ETSU. January 2011.

This is the last photo in the set Kumbh Mela and it depicts exactly what I felt throughout the festival period.

Like the ever-lasting light, the idea of faith is permanent while the place of faithful, mortal humans is impermanent - somewhat similar to the continuously flowing river.

Would you choose the Rolls Royces at the back or the 458? I've seen a few nice cars at this hotel. I do see the 458 Italia quite often, but I never manage to get bored of it. It always looks so stunning. Owning one would be a dream come true!!

We had to leave his pediatrician's office after they diagnosed the fracture and go to an orthopedic clinic at the hospital to get it set and casted. They put this splinty thing on to hold it in place in the meantime.

Landslip on West Coast Railway Line

The landslip is a couple of miles to the north of Leighton Buzzard and is at a location where Network Rail have got a lot of work to do just to get at the site. This afternoon their contractor Murphy was busy building a temporary roadway.

The land to the east side of the railway has slipped away leaving the London bound line (Up Slow) unsafe to use meaning that all Up trains have to use the Fast line.

Only about a kilometer from one of the most visited temples in the world of Angkor Wat lies Wat Ang Kea Sa. Wat Ang Kea Sa is one of many monasteries in predominately Buddhist Cambodia with a thriving population of young men. Over one hundred Bodhisattva (The one striving for Enlightenment) monks study the Pali language (the language of Theravada Buddhism) here while also studying the international language of English. They split their study time towards the path to enlightenment with the path to a career in their post-monk hood world. After a few years of living in the pagoda many of these men look to enter the tourism workforce thriving in Siem Reap. Speaking another language is a must in order to land a decent paying job at one of the many new four and five star hotels popping up. Alongside their traditional orange robes they reveal a somewhat non-traditional view of tattooed arms with cell phones clipped to their robes and a partially divided life they will live. While Buddhism will probably play a prominent role in their future lives, their time at the pagoda and their time in the robes is short lived.

There is a trade-off with driveways. The longer they are, the more expensive they are. The shorter they are, the less privacy you have at the house. And when they go uphill, you get a better view, but in normal winters, you might need a winch and cable to get the car to the house. Or snowshoes and walk. Or hire a guy with a diesel dually mounted with a hydraulic plow blade on the front. And the longer the driveway, the more expensive it is to get plowed....
