In June 2018, The Gardens at Texas A&M University celebrated the completion of its first phase: The Leach Teaching Gardens. These seven acres serve as an outdoor classroom where faculty and staff can teach students and the public about food production, landscape beauty, and the natural environment. This picture represents my life with Milli. We have all the same classes. We are on the forensics team together. On top of that, we live together. I met Milli last year through forensics and we’ve been friends since. I rarely go a day without seeing Milli and he has become a major part of my life.
This was the nice morning view from the hotel where I was teaching in a workshop for a week. This was the only sunny morning all week. Otherwise there was a lot of low clouds and fog.

This is our third compost bin in as many years ~ having big, determined dogs has proven to be quite a challenge! We got the idea (and basic how-to's) for building a bin using old pallets from here: www.instructables.com/id/Pallet_Compost_Bin/
The dark pallet has hinges on it so it can be swung open for emptying. We nailed ours together, instead of tying them to each other.
