What does it portray in this World of constant lockdowns, misery, depression and despair?
It shows HOPE……..it shows the excitement of YOUTH……..it shows traits of human endeavour developing in the minds and bodies of the coming generation.
Now that……is not a simple conception.

This building houses the department of Physical Medicine, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation, as part of the teaching hospital of the School of Medicine, University of Split. Known as The Spa of Split, Splitske Toplice, it has been active since Roman times.
A few seconds after the previous shot was taken, the baby bird turns to face me, the Sand Cricket firmly in his beak. He's a beautiful bird with a lovely nature, he allows me to stroke his feathers and never bites when he takes food from me. Not so his sibling who I call Sook Chook, she took a long time to trust me, her need for food is more urgent and she bites my fingers when she takes food from me.
At present I'm teaching them to catch food in the air, but like children catching a ball, they miss it most of the time. They're wonderful creatures.

According to this prophesy the Lord’s own disciple, Shesrab Zangpo of Stod first built the temple of Stagmo Lhakhang at the top of the Thiksey valley.
Then his nephew called Paldan Sherab founded the great monastery of Thiksey together with the residence for Lama and it came to flourish.
There are sacred shrines inside the monastery complex and a rich collection of numerous valuable artifacts and ancient relics.
Thiksey Gompa serves as the residence of approximately eighty monks.
The successive reincarnations of the Skyabsje Khanpo Rinpoche act as incumbents of the monastery.
Since 1430 AD children are coming to study there.

French Mountains (Sierakow Forest District). In 1807 Napoleon troops on the move from Drezdenko to Sierakow could not pass through the massive dunes with their cannons. The wheels of heavy artillery sank in the sand. In this connection, the locals had to do the pits and put balks on a dune path. Since that time, the surrounding hills are known as the French Mountains. The information stands on the Lichwin forest road are seen in the picture. The path led me to the Napoleonic Track near the Springs.
This is my son honoring the Confederate Soldiers who died during the Battle of Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station.

Near to my hotel in Siem Reap , Cambodia was a small Buddhist temple ...not on the usual tourist route. So when I had a few moments on my own ,I thought that I would sneak in & have a `nose` around the area. It was a proper little community there, with amongst other things, a lesson taken place in a veranda classroom. I learned later that it was a lesson in Japanese. When the students saw me they smiled & wanted to have a chat .....the monk teacher didn`t seem to mind at all. In fact he happily posed for my picture.
