Review Volunteer Vanessa Cedano in Peru Cusco at the Child Care Teaching program.
1- How was the local ABV Coordinator/staff and the support provided in-country?
Maria Elena was amazing! She had all the right information and gave the most helpful tips. She gave me a quick tour of the city on the first day, which was nice. She also made sure that I was comfortable and that I had everything that I needed. She gave me her 100% support, and I really appreciated that.

My wee organiser thingy buzzed at 10:48 this morning to remind me that I'd been teaching for exactly 33.33 years. A third of a century. In the same school. Ironically, I was looking after a history class for an absent colleague at the time. History! I've lived through most of it.
Students receiving their teaching credentials through the Grad Ed program celebrated the completion of their programs with a party on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.

While in Saigon I discovered a tour operator that offered free tours of nearby sights in exchange for volunteering two hours of time in a conversational English class with local school children. The experience was humbling and not unlike trying to perform stand-up comedy in front of a completely uninterested audience. Suffice to say I developed a newfound respect for teachers who do this full-time.
Thank you so much!!!. A Broader View Volunteers, in partnership with Shirt Citizens, have provided a grant of 70 children's Tshirts to our orphanage project in Kasoa Ghana. Thanks to the generosity of Shirts 4 Good grant, the shirts were given to the orphan and refugee children to be worn to school. A big thank you from our entire A Broader staff in Pennsylvania and in Kasoa Ghana.
