Impossible SX70 Instant Colour Film
Day five of 'Roidweek 2015, the last one. This has only been my third 'Roidweek so I am a newcomer really but I have to say that I think there has been some great posted.
I still had one pack of Impossible SX70 left after my trip to Japan so I decided to shoot some more today to post on the last day and this one is my final post to the Group this time.
It’s not quite sharp but this was the last shot in my last pack so…
There are a lot of arguments about whether film photography is actually analogue in the strict sense of the word so I thought I would round off my postings for with something that is undisputedly analogue.
This is my Roland SH09 Monophonic Analogue Synthesizer. It dates back to about 1979 but I have had it since the late 1990s. It is getting rather delicate and doesn’t go out to play much these days. For those that are interested you can hear it in action (and very occasionally see it) on these YouTube Videos:

And finally thanks to those who have views, favourited and commented upon my contributions.

the old e-mu modular analog synthesizer you can see in the background was originally captured by fr1zz.
Approved poster for Owl City show at The Fillmore.
Thinking about illustrating a ridiculous synthesizer is much easier than actually going ahead and illustrating a ridiculous synthesizer (and then having to do it twice because you didn't like the first version).

Just revamped my “studio desk”. It’s really a 7-foot UpliftDesk sit/stand desk that I have customized by adding a floating shelf, and stacking 19” rack cases (from AudioRax) on that.
Left-hand case holds a Doepfer A-155/A-154/A-160-5 sequencer setup. Right-hand case holds a Samson patchbay and Behringer XR12 mixer. Center case is currently unpopulated.
Synths are an MS-20 Mini, a custom modular setup in an Intellijel 104hp/7U case, and a Waldorf KB-37 containing a Behringer Pro-1, and Mutable Instruments Clouds. Above is a Behringer 2600, which kind-of started the whole desk re-do (which was a long time coming!).
Gator clamp-on monitor stands helped free desktop space, while still keeping everything integrated to the desk such that the speakers are at the correct height regardless of whether I’m sitting or standing.
Cable management is beneath, and extensive enough that there are just two power cables going to the UPS on the floor, and those are joined in a sleeve, which makes it all quite neat
The whole thing is on casters and by unplugging the two cables from the UPS can be wheeled around with ease (well, if the rug didn’t interfere!).
HDR front shot of my synthesizers.com modular synthesizer, which I truly love. 200 pounds of amazing craftmanship for one single voice!
Bracketing with long exposure times, dark room - almost all light comes from the synthesizer itself.
