The 1946 built 48 lever LMS framed box has not been in regular use since 2013 but as yet hasn't officially closed, although this is set to change in 2023 when the box and signals are planned to be abolished.
The long lifted Clowne branch used to divert off to the left behind the box.
170419 passes Elmton & Creswell signal box on 28th March 2022 with 2D17 1439 Worksop to Nottingham.
I snapped the train quite far out as I wanted to get the semaphore distant in shot and if the train was any nearer it would have been hidden....and we can't have the quality chevron infrastructure out of sight!
General Electric 45-ton side rod switcher refurbished by the Wisconsin Great Northern for the Lake Superior & Mississippi tourist railroad of Duluth, Minn. It will be used on the LS&M in 2020.
Taken on October 25,2019, at the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad of Trego, Wisc. The railroad offers both freight and passenger service over the former Chicago & North Western line between Spooner and Hayward.
Three California Northern GP15-1s switch the Budweiser plant at Subeet (west of Fairfield/Suisun City), California, on March 7, 1994. These classy green and creme Geeps in fresh paint are former Chicago and North Western locomotives.
This is a set of 6 photos showing the local Santa Fe job switching the elevator at Kentland, Indiana on July 2nd, 1986. Train had ATSF 3063-3071 and arrived with 9 cars. Crew set 5 hoppers in the elevator and departed with 4 cars.
In this photo, the conductor rides in to make the chop and set brakes on the cars.

Fully Charged Live 2021 (aka Fully Charged Outside) was the latest event to be held at the Farnborough International site in Farnborough, Hants. The three-day event hosted a huge selection of electric vehicles including two PSV products. There was also an internal Park & Ride bus service operating using 8 buses over the course of the event with the addition of an occasional trip to Farnborough (Main) railway station.
I visited on the overcast Saturday and returned on the sunny Sunday. For the record, buses seen were:

Our drive for the best pie in the land brought us to Redwing, at the Pottery Place Historic Center. Just outside the center in the parking lot, are the remains of what could have been the kiln - probably best to keep it away from the main warehouse. I suspect further that this switch was for powering the fans.
I was lucky enough to snag a freedom teller coat for Rune while he was at the spa as well. I think these DH pants are a little long though...he needs some tailored ones ^_^
