Arriving at Townsend, the Helena Switch gets to work. The first order of business is splitting the consist, so that SD40-2 262 can be dropped off for ballast train duty. How classy is that Northern Pacific-era searchlight signal bridge?

Buzzi Cement in Ogelsby, IL gets full and receives empty cement cars to the Iowa Interstate railroad twice a week or so. They use the old Illinois Central Gruber line to head north to La Salle to interchange with them. All finished delivering empties, IAIS 712 leading IAIS 711 head back down the 7% grade to their ex-Rock Island line. To the right is their competition, Illinois Cement, which has little chance of getting rail service, as they are entirely serviced by trucks.

This is an old classic building in Sweden, nu it is not a Radioactive Power plant, it just gets it´s kicks from GAS, or did I read something about that Eon who owns it is switching it off, I wonder what they are use it for, it would be cool if the turned it in to a nightclub or a house of culture, like music, art and happenings, then again that would happen in sWeden :)

Started as a bicentennial project in 1976, Bellevue, Ohio’s Mad River & NKP Railroad Museum has grown into one of the largest outdoor railroad museums in the Midwest. Indoor exhibits cover Bellevue’s earliest rail line, the Mad River & Lake Erie of 1839. There is a heavy emphasis on the Nickel Plate Road, and the museum displays several restored pieces including a NKP RSD-12, GP30, and 2-8-4 Berkshire. Other Ohio rail lines are not forgotten, and there are numerous pieces of equipment on display from Baltimore & Ohio, Wheeling & Lake Erie, Norfolk & Western, Wabash, and others. Some of these railroads are now part of Norfolk Southern, which runs dozens of trains past the museum every day. There are also many smaller locomotives in the collection, including an 0-6-0F fireless from Cleveland Electric and a Milwaukee Road Fairbanks-Morse H-12-44 (in fresh paint!), and an assortment of passenger cars that includes the first dome car ever built. The museum is well worth a visit if you find yourself near Bellevue.

I put her some eyelashes, good reason to take new photos!

I really love this girl!!!
