I drove up the road from my house so I could get a higher vantage point to catch this sunset. Even though it's pretty flat where I live, and the background can be cluttered, I wasn't disappointed.

Sunsets in Africa can be spectacular. In early November, I caught thus sunset in Botswana from a flat bottomed boat on the Chobe River. I traveled through a photography focused tour company - Pangolin - and they were spectacular. Not only did they help me get to the best locations at the right time and at the correct angle, but they also provided a camera to my wife and helped her learn how to photograph the wildlife and scenery. 20241114Elephant&CalfChobe

Sunset is a universally cherished time of day, as it can mean different things to different people. For some, it represents the end of a long day and a chance to unwind.
